i used to give myself a shot 5 times a day.
it may make you uncomfortable
but it's killing me.
my insulin pump isn't a beeper or phone.
it's my lifeline.
1 in 13 people have it.
while some inherit it.
and 1 in 4 of those don't know they have it.
diabetes awareness month.
help find a cure.

Childhood is the best phase of life.
It is when you don't have to worry about anything. You can just depend on your parents. It is the stage in life where you can do nothing and just play in a sandbox all day. I miss the days when the hardest decision was whether to play on swings or slide. The days where running around in the park is like living in a completley different world. We had promised
to text each other very day. All three of us would skype together. We would hang out every weekend. We would still try and do homework together. We would still be best friends. I remember that day, we had laughed so hard that we had started to cry. Now when we hang out once every two months, it is awkward. I look at old pictures and i cry tears of sadness because we changed and that promise was broken.
