   The other day I saw my old social worker.
   I realized that ever since 2nd grade I've gone to get help for my problems.
   I realized that I've been suffering from depression symptoms ever since my dad left in kindergarten, and my mom only cared about my two younger siblings.
   I also realized that I've been getting spanked and hit since I was very little.
   I think that's why it's not a big deal anymore. Just part of my daily life.
   I grew up getting hit and yelled at on a daily basis.
