    Instead of informing us of murders, kidnappings, and burglaries...
    the news should celebrate births, adoptions, marriages and all of the good and positive things that go on in this world that are constantly being overshadowed by all of the hatred.

    If I could go back to any decade...
    it would be th e 50s.

    The sweet, innocent old fifties. The last decade before this world took a bit of a downward plunge. People in the 50s were genuinely happy. What you got was what you got. People weren't judged on what they wore, what interests they had, what music they listened to, you know? There weren't electronics that tore apart families and caused a lack of exercise throughout the nation. When people were bored, they hopped onto their bikes and rode to their friend's houses. They went outside and played tag, played hide and seek, drew with chalk, played hop skotch and just had innocent fun. Drugs? Nahh, we don't have the time for that nonsense. The fifties were the last decade of just pure happiness. Sure, there were problems, but nothing that couldn't be fixed. My wish is that our world today, could become like the world we lived in during the fifties. How the world became so shallow, I do not know. But it can be changed, and that's what I hope for, that's what I wish for every 11:11.
