of course he doesn't like me. i'm so damn used to this, i can't even cry.
the slow, sad songs don't make me feel any better, because they're all about breakups.
not ever about thinking a boy finally likes you back and then to find out that he was just
laughing in your face. at this point i feel like love's not going to
happen to me,because over and over again i hear the same things and
can't even describe the anger and hurt i feel when i hear it again, those terrible words;

my life is almost perfect. almost.
i have the best friends i could ever ask for, end of story.
my family is always on my side, even when i'm wrong, period.
and well, these days i'm lucky not to be living on the streets.
and don't get me wrong, i'm greatful for everything i have,

just my luck.
he used to like me. used to. for a long time.
but stupid, stupid me was too blind to notice.
everybody knew but me, and he didn't know that.
he was convinced that i wasn't interested in him
so he stopped loving me. and now that i do like him,
and he doesn't like me back, i feel like a jerk because
i realized that i put him through the exact pain i'm feeling
now. and that thought just hangs in the back of my head,
he used to.

if you think about it, we're all like

i wish i was a little girl again. that way, whenever
something went wrong, i could just put on a dress
and let my imagination take me away to a
fairytale*
where everything went my way, all i had to do was
place a crown on my head, and every worshipped me.
i would look beautiful no matter what, and it was always
sunny and warm. i would go to a place where i was strong
all of the time, and nobody ever was sad.
nobody would ever get hurt, and at the end of the day,
my life was perfect because i knew that there was a prince
charming, waiting to kill dragons, climb towers and do absolutely
anything for my love. if only i could be a little girl forever, when life
was just so darn simple.

boy does she love you.
and i bet you can't see it. she tries everything she can to let you know
how she feels. she sits next to you in classes, and asks you for help on
math problems that she knows by heart. she looks directly into your eyes
when she talks to you, and laughs at all of your jokes, even when every
body else thinks their lame. she'll stick up for you, and treats you different
then everyone else. and when she goes home at night, she just wishes you
could see how she feels for you. she wishes, and prays that by some miracle
you'll realize that shes madly in love with you. but everyone knows that when you do,
it'll be too late

i want that kind of boy
the one that i can call in the middle of the night when i get in a
fight with my best friend. the kind that don't care if i wear sweats
on a date, or have messy hair. the kind that'll just wrap his arms
around me and refuse to let go. the one that leaves you feeling warm
and happy, with his smell left on you for the rest of the day. the kind
that tells you how pretty you are even if you look horrible. and when
