    People just try to answer
    I wish

"I always thought, how do parents go on when they lose a child? You know when I see that stuff on the news, i'd shut it off because it was just horrible to think.. But I would always think, how do they wake up every day? I mean, how do they breath? But you do wake up.. And just for a second you forget, then you remember it all and it's like getting that call again and again every time. You don't get to stop waking up.. You have to keep on being a parent even when you don't have a child anymore."

I don't even know him. But he's gone and I miss him. I never even got the chance to say "hello".
    People don't deserve this.

We met in kindergarten. We were best friends.
She always told me she loved my eyes. I didn't quite know why.
I was in love with her, so of course my face lit up immensely whenever she said it.
She was beautiful, kind, and extremely funny.
We'd be talking about nothing, and she'd turn to me and whisper,
    "I like your eyes."
One day, I was playing basketball,
waiting for her to drive over to my house to have a game with me.
Suddenly, I got a phone call.
It was her mom. She was in a panic.
I couldn't quite understand what she was saying. It sounded like,
"Aaron, come quick! Kelsey, accident, Main Street! Blood. Come now!"
I had no clue what happened,
so I ran to Main Street with my basketball shorts and a tee shirt on.
I saw Kelsey's mom helplessly crying, waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
I saw a totaled car, blood everywhere.
    Then I saw her, Kelsey.
My heart stopped as I frantically ran over to her.
"Kelsey? Kelsey!" She was unconscious. I started crying.
I know it isn't very manly, but I couldn't help it.
Before I could say anymore, the medics took her away,
the main source of blood coming from her head.
I went to the hospital that night,
    I went every night.
in fact, the only time I left was to go out to eat, but that's it.
The doctors tried getting me to leave, but I refused.
    It was all my fault.
If it wasn't for me, wanting to play basketball with her,
she wouldn't be going through this.
It was already four days, and she hasn't woken up.
On the fifth day, I saw her eyes gently open.
    "Kelsey?" I called.
    She wasn't quite awake yet.
Suddenly, doctors came rushing in, telling me I had to wait outside.
I did, for a few hours.
One of the doctors finally came out saying,
    "I understand that you're Kelsey's friend, Aaron?"
    "Yes," I whispered.
    He bit his lip.
    "She woke up, she's fine,
but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss."
"Are you serious?" I almost shouted.
    "I'm afraid so."
    I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't.
I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again.
"You can go see her if you want,
but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom."
I walked in, trembling in horror.
I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept.
I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again.
I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out.
Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered,
"I don't know you, but I like your eyes."

Today at school, in my English class, we did these things called "six-word memoirs."
Basically, you use only six words to make a sentence that greatly relates to your personal life.
    You know what mine was?
"What does a relationship feel like?"

    Me: im ugly
    Friends: no you're not
Me: I AM UGLY and that's a fact. guys don't add me on facebook and like my pictures, they don't ask for my number, i get 5 text a day, one from my dad, two from my mom, one from the phone company and another one from some girl in my class asking me if there's something for tomorrow. guys don't text me saying 'goodmorning beautiful' or just even saying 'hi whats up?' if i have any guy friends they're one maybe two. you guys DO get texts, boys flirt with you, you're always complaining about boys, when nobody ever calls me pretty. you guys get a compliment at least twice a day, boys play with your hair, kiss your cheek, hold you from behind, and i'm just there watching, and if any boy wants to talk to me it's because they want me to give them something, or to call me bad names. i don't have 120 likes on my profile picture, i'm scared of doing a party because i know i would't have any guy friends to invite. is it because i don't let anyone know me? NO, it's because i don't look good. why all the pretty girls out there are full of 'guy friends'? don't tell me because they're the best people ever because it ain't true. my teeth are not perfect, i don't like my smile, i'm insecure af, my eyes have nothing special, i don't even have the perfect body, so don't tell me i'm not ugly because i am.

I call it: the hipster paradox
I ask you; how many hipsters do there need to be before being a hipster becomes "mainstream" thus rendering the term "hipster" null and void?
*now, even though I felt extremely clever when I thought of this two days ago, a quick look on google showed that I'm not the first one to think this up...darn!

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did- in his sleep. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.
