Hey! I'm a senior in high school, i LOVE running, along with acting and cheerleading.

I just found out my best friend, like me, has cut herself, and i had thought i was alone. And my other best friend betrayed me when all i ever was was loyal to her. These are the people i thought i knew.

To My Parents,
We have a lot of ups and downs these days. I don't want to disappoint you or hurt you, but at the same time i want to do what i want to do. I think we both need to get a better understanding and respect for each other. I know you guys love me and just don't want me to make the same mistakes you did, but some things i want to just experience for myself. Please stop trying so hard to protect me. I don't think you should be able to control so much just because i still live in your house, i am 18 now. I'm sorry i might not have turned out to be what you wanted me to be. I have changed a lot, i know. But i still love you and even though we have our differences, i'm glad God gave me you for parents.

To my oldest friend,
We met when we were both still in diapers. We were 2 crazy little kids, and a whole lot alike! We had some crazy fun times together. Then i moved away. How did things change so much since then? How do two people go from being just alike to being totally different, just because they were separated? Obviously, one of us changed. I know who it was. Me. I moved away and became a new person. We're totally different now. On the rare occasions that we see each other, things are just totally awkward and we have nothing to talk about. It's sad, and i hope someday we can become good friends again, even if we are totally different people.
