Dear Witty,
When I was about 5, my room was awful and my brother was helping me tidy it. On the bars of my bunk bed my pink barbie scarf was knotted in a loop: I was pretending to be a gymnast and couldn't undo the knot I'd made. I took some teddies into my mum and dads room and when I came back my brother had slipped through the loop and had foam coming out of his mouth. I thought he was joking, playing dead. I was tickling him and trying to make him laugh but he wouldn't so I ran downstairs panicked, and told dad. An ambulance came and took him to A&E. We followed in the car and he neary died. He was in there for roughly two months. I thought I'd lost him.

Dear Witty,
I'm in love with my best friends ex. He was my best friend in year five and six, until I went to an all-girs high school with my friends. He would leave her little cute notes and ask me to give them to her and she would do the same. He's cheesy but adorably cute. He loved her with al his heart, and then she told me he was to clingy, and asked me to tell him she was dumping him. It tore me to pieces watching him crying. I gave him my number to talk if he needed it. We talked for hours and he was there for me when I needed help too. One night (about 3 weeks later) I was at my Nana's house and he was down and texted me saying that nobody would ever love him. I texted back saying that's not true, that ots of people do. He said ike who and i listed a few names and put and more. He said who else and I told him I did. He didn't text me back, when rang it always went to voicemail. Then my phone broke, I got a new one but lost his number. I've asked my friends but nobody has it and I can't stop thinking about him. I'm in year eight now, nearly nine.
