Basically, they're there to show you you're not alone. If you see a girl in public wearing one, you're supposed to point to yours and if she nods her head, you know she is part of it. i didn't make it up, i was researching EDNOS and came across it. but also if you have a white bead on it and you see it every day, it reminds you that you're trying to stop. reply

Most people, including myself make theirs. If you google them, there are sites that you can buy them from, but they don't have to be amazing bracelets. Mine's literally three pieces of pink ribbon braided together with a white and purple bead. reply

i know. i only do it maybe once or twice a week, sometimes i'll go a month or so without purging, which is why i have EDNOS instead of anorexia and bulimia. reply
