Kaylee's P.O.V
I need to leave this place. I can't stay here and do this again to yet another boy that I like. Jason is the most amazing guy I have ever met and to think that I'm going to eventually destroy him like I've done to every other guy I dated is too much for me. I need to tell Jason why I'm leaving. This time I'm going by myself without my parents. I'm moving for ME not for them anymore. I called Jason. He answered," Oh, so now you want to talk to me?" "Can I meet you somewhere? I need to talk to you about something I should've told you a while ago," I explained. "Fine. Where?" "Meet me at the park." He hung up on me. I put all of my clothes and put them in the back of my car. I left a note for my parents telling them that I am leaving and won't be coming back. As I drove to the park, the tears started filling my eyes. I pulled over and sat there. This is going to be tougher then I thought.
When I got to the park, I saw Jason sitting on the bench by the pond. I went and sat down next to him. "Thanks for coming," I said. "Could you just tell me what you had to tell me and not say anything else until you're done with that?" he asked in an aggravated tone. "Well, remember on our first date here when I told you my parents were business people and we had to move around a lot because of their company?" "Yeah." I sighed," Well that's not why we have to keep moving around a lot. My parents could only stay in a certain place for a while because they knew that if someone noticed them, they would be sent to jail. My parents were serial killers. They used me to lure people to them. Everytime I would tell them about a guy I was dating, they would think I wanted them to murder him. Their pictures were put on the news a while back but they keep changing their appearance. They've been threatening me and saying they would murder me too if I even thought about telling anyone. I'm sick of it now. Not living a normal life is ruining me. I need to go. I came to say good bye. I'm leaving today." He sat there in disbelief. I started to cry. I looked up at him. "You deserve better than me," I explained," You deserve someone who doesn't have this past. You deserve someone who is as good of a person as you are." "It doesn't have to be like that," Jason finally said," You don't have to go around living like this. Anyone would be willing to get you out of that situation. I would be willing to get you out of this situation, but you can't shut everyone out of your life. You can't treat people the way that you are. You ruined me. I've never had a connection with a girl on a first date like that ever in my life. I think I love you." "Jason,"I sighed. He kissed me. I kissed him back. This is what I was afraid would happen.

I Just Wanna Run
I just wanna run, throw it away, run before they're finding me out.....
The second day at school, some guy came up to me. "Hey, I'm Jason," he said. I looked at him up and down. He was tall, tan, muscular, and had the most beautiful brown eyes I have ever seen. " I'm Kaylee," I said. "Yeah, I heard. The new girl with the shirt open," he laughed. "Oh ha ha, you're so funny," I said. "Well, here's my number. Maybe we could go out sometime and I'll be sure to bring a sweatshirt just in case your shirt is open," he offered. He had the most adorable smile I have ever seen. He gave me his number and walked away.
The rest of the day was pretty boring, especially since I had no classes with Jason. When I got home, I decided to text Jason.
"Hey, it's Kaylee."
"Hey. What's up?"
"Well, I was thinking I might take you up on that offer. How does Friday night sound?"
"Friday sounds good to me. :)"
"Alright, well I'll see you then. :)"
"Okay. Bye."
"Bye."
The rest of the week went by really fast. And I was actually starting to make some friends! I kind of liked this town. I was getting ready for my date, when Jason texted me. -- Hey I'm leaving now. -- I got butterflies in my stomach. I was actually excited for a date, which I haven't been in a while.
Jason took me to the park and we took a walk by the water. We talked for a while and I found out we had A LOT in common. He was so charming and was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring at his eyes. When we got back to my house, Jason walked me to my door. "I had so much fun tonight," Jason said. "So did I. Surprisingly," I laughed. "Well good night," he smiled. "Wait...," I said as he was walking down the steps. I walked up to him and kissed him. Then I ran inside. I collapsed on the floor. "I can't do this," I said to myself. I need to get out of this place. I'm not gonna ruin this guy like I did to every other guy. He can't find out who I really am....

I'm sick and tired of everyone telling me I should move on,
but did they ever stop to think that maybe I don't want to?
that maybe i love him and it's hard for
me to find someone else
that I don't compare to him?
