while making themself

Seeing the smile on
on their face
when their crush
texts them
Laughing at the stupid,
yet adorable faces
they make in the mirror
Seeing how they
tie their shoes
or freak out because
something's missing and then
feeling stupid because it
was in their hand
Noticing the door locked
while they dance
around their room
and lip sink to their favorite songs
Learning how they talk to
their family,
and to themself,
and on the phone
Laughing when they hit
their hand or leg
or side on something
while they were running
in the house
What number they stop
the microwave on
a couple seconds before it beeps
Couldn't you fall in love with anyone
if you really got to know them?

have you ever
just looked at someone and thought,
"I really love you." They're
just talking or humming or watching a
movie or reading a book or
laughing or something, and there's
something about them in that
moment - their body is
alive, there's a light in their
eyes, something - that makes you
think, "I just really love you." It's a
weird sensation to think this
but it's pretty amazing that we can
feel this way about another being.
