Dear People of Witty
Just once I'd like to go to the top quotes, looking for a Facebook status, or caption for a picture, or a saying for my edits, and actually find QUOTES. I'm soo sick of going to the top quotes and seeing
"Fave if you've ever...."
"Fave and I'll tell you your husbands name..."
"Fave and I'll tell you how many kids you'll have..."
Etc.
Also, posers. Please stop. If you just want to go to a website that millions of girls use daily, and destroy it, go to a different website. Please. Nobody here wants any more drama or to lose this website that most of us call a second home.
Also another thing, we all know that elementary school kids have waay more then we did. Theres more technology, and times have changed. We get it, you don't have to make it into a quote.
And also, I understand that there are friends/family members of people on here that have cancer, in the hosptial, have passed away, etc. I don't believe Witty is the place to go to and post "My brother just got diagnosed with cancer. He's 9. Please fave and help him" Faves aren't going to help a sick person, get over yourselves.
Also, I understand its an issue with parents drinking/smoking excessively or not allowing you to do something, but making it into a quote and asking for faves isn't going to make your parents change there minds. If your parents don't want you doing something, thers a reason. And you getting 300 faves on a website isn't going to change their minds.
I miss the old witty. The witty that I could go onto and vent and get help and support from other girls, not be threatened by these girls that s*it on everybody's quotes. I'm sooo sick of not seeing quotes on top quotes. And most of the quotes that are actually quotes are all formatted the same, or have been cycling through the site for months/years. What happened to originality? That used to be what everything was about on this website. Who cares if a quote doesn't have fade or a backround or a fancy layout. We've been taught since kindergarten not to judge a book by its cover!
Don't get me wrong, I don't want this to become a big production. This needed to be said and I'm sure thousands of you were thinking the same.
Please no hate comments, if you do post hate comments, that just proves the point of this quote. I am NOT looking for faves, it just needed to be put out there.
