    Chapter 3
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We arrived at the school it was so crowed.
We could barely find a parking spot.
“Babe, you don’t mind walking do you? Im sorry, its so crowed!” he said in his angelic soft voice.
    “No, its fine.”.
“…life! I would be your girl, we’d keep all our promises be us against the world!”,
the gym looked amazing! The dance committee did a great job!
“Looks amazing doesn’t it?” I asked angel.
“Yeah, its awesome. Im gonna go get us something to drink alright? Go find us somewhere to sit…”.
    “Okay.”.
    He kissed my forehead.
I found a table in the far right corner,
so the speakers weren’t blasting in our ears.
I sat down and began to observe the place
and see if any of my friends were here.
“Char!”, I looked up and it was Megan.
Megan has been my best friend since 4th grade.
“Megan! Hey girl you look gorgeous!”
“Me?! Compared to you I look like sh**! Your hair looks great!”
    I blushed.
    I hated compliments.
That’s the one thing Angel hated about me. I didn’t know how to take them.
    “Thanks.”
“Wheres Angel? I saw him when you guys first came in…”, she asked.
“Hmm, I don’t know. He should be back by n…” I paused.
“Char..? What is it?” she asked suspiciously.
    Melissa Reyes, Angel’s ex girlfriend.
I trusted Angel, just not her.
Shes been trying to break us up since day one.
Every time I saw him talking to her I wanted to burst into flames!
Her hair fell so perfectly down her shoulders. Perfect length.
So silky. He body curved in all the right places.
    Her smile better than mine.
There was NO competition. IN my book she was always number one.
I never understood why Angel didn’t go back to her.
    He had a choice and he went for me… I don’t understand…

    Chapter 2:
We finally pulled up to a street with a row of houses.
“You ready?” he said, opening the side door smiling.
“Where are we?” I asked as I got out.
We walked up to a house with a white door with a rectangular shaped glass window
    designed with gold flowers.
    “My parents house.”
When he said that I came to a complete stop,
    I was in complete shock.
I thought back to Angel telling me what he thought
about introducing his girlfriends to his parents…
I don’t believe in the whole “meet my parents” thing… I haven’t found anyone that was
worth introducing to my parents. When I meet the right one, I will show her off to the world,
I would want my parents to meet the girl that gives me a feeling I’ve never felt before. The
girl that gives me a reason to smile, the girl that I want to wake up to every morning, and
watch fall asleep at night. That’s the girl I want my parents to meet.
“Char? You alright?” he said, starring at me.
He slowly walked up to me, kissed me on my forehead and said
“Don’t be nervous babe, they’re dying to meet you.”
“I…I.. I’m fine.” I smiled to show him how happy I was.
He wrapped his arms around me and held me tight to his chest.
I whispered in his ear, “I love you Angel…”,
    I couldn’t believe I said that.
That had been the first time I’ve ever said that to a boy. But it just slipped,
But I didn’t want to take it back. I meant it.
He gently pulled away and pressed his forehead against mine and said,
“I love you too Char Gavner…”, and kissed me.
He filled in the spaces between my fingers with his and walked me to the front step and rang
    the door bell.
A women with long, silky brown hair and eyes like Angels,
brown, round, and glassy opened the door and smiled.
    Her smile was beautiful.
She gave Angel a big hug and whispered something in his ear.
He laughed and said, “Yes, that’s her.”
She looked at me and said, “You must be the
beautiful Char Gavner, I’ve heard lots about you sweetie. Its nice to finally meet you.” She
    hugged me.
“Hi Mrs. Rydner, it’s a pleasure to meet you too.” I smiled.
“So you and Angel on your way to the school dance? What was the theme of it this year?
The um… Winter Ball was it?”.
“Yes, we should actually get going, we’re going to be late.” angel said.
“Ok honey, it was nice meeting you Char, please come visit again soon.”
She gave me a hug goodbye and Angel a kiss on the cheek and told him to drive safely.
We got into the car and went on our way.
We were almost at the school, and I was so ready for the dance. I was in such a good
    mood.
“I love your mom! She is so nice.”.
“And I love you.”, I felt his soft lips brush peck my left cheek.
I was so happy to call him my own.
He was perfect. We were perfect.
ahh, so nervous about writing. idk if its any good. so please give me feedback. kbye(:
