lately, a lot of topics have been brought up to the world, less witty profiles. one topic hitting the news has been bullying. no matter what the reason, it's wrong. kids have committed suicide or still suffer emotionally from what they've beenthrough. my take on this- if it's still with you, it counts as bullying.
now's your chance to share your story. whether you were bullied, your friend was bullied, or you were the bully yourself, let's hear it to raise some awareness. maybe if more people see how badly it affects people, something else will be done.
for now, let's post your stories as comments. the password privelige has already been used for evil. all the quotes that have been posted have been erased by some sorry soul :(

I'm trying to get out there. i have a Facebook, a website, a formspring, a totally confidential email, and a twitter. and, of course, a witty profiles. but most importantly, i have the time to listen. i want to hear everyone's story, whether it was something like being called fat by one person or a backstabbing best friends or being hurt to the point of being in the hospital. i know that these are terrible stories, but i want everyone who has been hurt to know that they're not alone. there are tons of people dealing with the same thing as you, i promise. I'm sure they'd take time out to listen to you, too. and even if you think no one is there to listen to you,

I am in 7th grade. theres a lot of drama, fighting, gossip, relationships, and heartbreaks at my school. personally i try to avoid all that, but its hard being someone that really stands out. there are these girls that i really dont like. they always laugh at me behind my back, and i hear them tell each other multiple things about me include these:
i'm fat ugly
a teachers pet
retarded
i have no friends
and simply just that i'm stupid
and the worst thing is, its not only those girls. theres also another girl that hates me for no reason at all. she always pretends to be my friend, just because she wants to come to my party. i hear her talk about me like i'm not even there.
bullying is wrong, and all us girls/guys need to come together to stop it, and help pick up the fallen <3

a story i received via email...
I am in 8th grade and weight 150 pounds. I don't know what I'm supposed to weigh. But in my mind that's alot. My F.A.C.S teacher looks at me like I don't belong. And everyone I mean everyone calls me fat or ugly atleast once a day. I'm just tired of it. I posted on facebook this long status about it and it came to me that some people actually did care because I had 15 notifications of comments on it. Of people saying your not fat or ugly don't let people put you down. I still think I am, but no as much. And after the whole facebook thing only 1 person has called me fat. My brother recently attempted suicide because he thought he didn't belong in the world. That's why I hate bullying so much! And I feel bad for everybody that gets bullied I wish the whole world could just be nice to each other, but that's like wishing for peace...Not gonna happen.

yeah, right.
so many kids and teenagers today are dealing with one of the worse abuses: bullying.
some people it hurts on a physical level,
but even more get hurt on an emotional level
which, honestly, hurts even more
so many kids are losing hope,
are friendless,
in therapy,
some have even gone suicidal.
take a stand.

now i guess i'll share my own story...
it was fifth grade. me and her were both assigned the same safety patrol post by the gym. at first, we started off as friends, me letting her listen to my mp3 player and her letting me borrow her little tamagotchi game thing. but then, i guess something clicked in her head. i was geeky with freakish hexagonal glasses and frizzy hair. and what's worse, i had told her about my stomach problem. that really started it. then every night, she'd call me up and tell me the whole list of people who hated me,and not to talk to them, and that i wasn't allowed to sit by them at lunch. i'd either have to sit with the boys (who oddly excepted me) and sometimes my friend's teacher would let me sit with her at lunch. my mom tried to get the school involved, but they thought we were lying! the girl was involved in a bunch of activities helping the younger grades, and her mom was part of the PTO, so she ran about every fundraiser he school had. one day, my mom was so fed up that she got involved. normally i would've been horrified, but i was so fed up. she stormed up and screamed at this girl and her mother, trying to figure out what i had done to deserve such terrible behavior. she never bothered me again, but everything she did was still with me. when i had to stand by her in chorus, i would try and ignore her every move. i just hated her for that, and she kick-started some very bad habits of mine that, five years later, i'm still in therapy for. bullying hurts, and the pain never leaves you.

in 5 and 6th grade I was fat so everyone used to say im fat and ugly and no one wanted me. people still pick on me today even tho i lost all the weight
