Cancer sucks
my grandmother got diagnosed with cancer a couple months ago
She was diagnosed with lung cancer. Its the most
horrible thing that could happen to someone.
Shes had it before but survived it.
She didnt think she would
see my graduate high school &
she did.Yesterday i went to
go see her & she turned to me and said
" Erica, i didnt think you would
come see me anymore since my
cancer got bad & i lost everything
i got ugly.Im glad you still come see
me you're the most greatest
grand-daughter i could ever
ask for. I'm glad you're mine i love you pumpkin"
So i said to her " Nana, i would always come
see you no matter how bad your cancer gets, i still love you
and you didn't lose EVERYTHING you still
have your family & friends who love you & visit you every day
and Nana you didn't get ugly, your beautiful no matter what:)
and I'm glad your mine i couldn't ask for a more greater Nana. i love you <3"
and with that she smiled, for the first time
in a while.
So today my mom called me and told
me my Nana is getting worse.
She cant walk shes weak
Shes sleeping all the time & shes sicker
. It sucks,
The nurses say she could go anyday.
If you know someonee who has cancer
Spend as muchh time with them
as you can. The most horrible thing
is never being able to say
good bye.
