Chapter One, Part one.
"Wake up you. Wake up!" Someone was shaking me awake.
I opened my eyes, hoping that everything that had happened was just a nightmare.
But it wasn't. "My boss is gone now. C'mon. "Follow me."
He stood up and started walking hurriedly.
I stumbled and fell trying to follow, making a lot of noise.
"Be quiet!"He grabbed my hand and led me out of the building.
He dragged me into the car, shoving me in and slamming the door.
He got in, mumbling some swear words.
"I can't believe I didn't kill you." He muttered as he drove.
I sat there silently, fearing that if I said the smallest thing, I'd get shot.
"Something is wrong with me. I always finish the job. Always. Why didn't I freaking kill you?"
He slammed his hands against the wheel. "The boss is going to kill me if he finds out."
I sat there, tears flowing down my face. I'm scared. Really scared.
