Hello there, fellow witty friends :) I'm grapes3ahoy, and I genuinely have no clue why I chose that username. It just happened, I guess? So if you ask for some kind of story, I'm sorry to say that I have no story to give. I'm your average girl. I'm the average height, average weight, average hair color, and I have an average face. I wear make-up, but I don't glob it on. I have insecurities, but I can manage to look past them when necessary. There have been several boys who've constantly been on my mind when I'm pretty sure I've never even crossed theirs. I'm itching to leave high school, but scared for what my future holds. I'm a very proud aunt to an adorable nephew. I'm a coffee junkie, but only on the weekends. I'm a writer, music lover, and Logan Lerman fanatic. I've taken part in so many different hobbies, and I'm still waiting for that magic one that utterly captures me. I'm a Scrabble fan, and a strict follower of the basic rules of grammar. I've never had a first kiss, and I'm actually rather proud of that. Sometimes I get ashamed, but I'd rather hold out for someone special than waste it on someone who really isn't worth it. Speaking of it, one of my all-time favorite movies is Never Been Kissed. I could watch it on a loop for an entire month, and I probably wouldn't ever get sick of it. I desperately want to travel. To anywhere. I'm not picky about my destinations. I'm incredibly shy, but working on getting over that. I obsess over little things, and try to manage all my random thoughts from making me go insane. Sometimes I don't know what, or who, to turn to . . . and that's why I'm thankful for witty. You girls, and the occasional guy, help me through the tough times. All I have to say?

Never had a boyfriend. Never been out on a date. Never been kissed. Never talk to guys, really.
Yeah, sometimes it sucks. I'm the girl with the gorgeous best friend that has guys falling all over her.
But you know what? I'm not taking anything for granted.
I'll be able to really appreciate a first kiss and a first date so much more now, as opposed to when I was 12.
Maybe I'm single now, but it won't be that way forever.
Have a little hope.
You never know what could happen.

HEY YOU.
You know that guy in your math class with the snooty girlfriend? Or maybe the slightly nerdy kid you secretly have a crush on? That gorgeous jock you pass in the hallway? You may think it'll never work, whether it's because you never talk, or you don't think you're good enough. But can I just tell you a story? My best friend once was describing how she'd want a guy to look. She saw a guy from our grade walk past and said, "Kinda like him." They ended up dating a year after that. Later, when things didn't work out with him, she saw a hot guy at her sister's job, but had no clue what to say to him. Six months later, they may as well be a couple. So you never know. I'm not saying you should only focus on the person you like because this quote "proves it'll work" between you two. All I'm saying is that you never know.
Life works in funny ways.

Do you ever feel like you're stuck at square one? You have different friend groups, are too shy to talk to him, and you aren't even sure he knows your last name? When you think about it, you like him for who you think he is. You feel stupid, because you can't even say what his favorite show his. But then something happens . . . he walks in a room, smiles that gorgeous grin, and you see his face. And right then, you forget any doubt you ever had.
