July 16th, 2008, my Great Grandpa Died.
He was 91 years of age, and his wife (my great grandma) was 94.
Before he had passed away, he was in the hospital for weeks on end, not being able to do anything, and eventually he just stopped eating and talking all together. All he would do was sleep. The doctors had said he was going to be gone weeks beforehand, but he was still standing strong.
And being the age my great grandma was, she wasn't in any position to go and visit him.
One night, she fell, breaking her left shoulder and her right wrist. She was immediately sent to the hospital.
My mom rushed over to the hospital with them, and sat there with my great grandma and my grandma until 4AM.
My mom always called my great grandpa "pop" .
At one point in the night, my mom had checked her phone. She looked at it and she could only cry. Spelt out on her phone, it was "**0000*0808*0808* P0P*08#*" She went to his room, and he was still breathing.
My Great Grandma went over to his room, July 16th 2008 at 1AM. He died at 2PM that same day.

She's 96 now, and isn't doing well at all.
She looks over to his chair and still see's him.

no, i realize now that when your heart breaks,
you got to fight like hell to make sure you're still alive.

You know that feeling
when you look at him and think, "wow I love him, but we're just friends." Or maybe when he looks at her it hurts so much sometimes. When you're in love with him and he's in love with her. You love everything about him, and he loves everything about her. You wasted all your 11:11 wishes on him. You kept it in for so long. No one knows how confused you actually are.
Do you tell him you like him? Or do you keep it in, as usual. --- It's confusing.
or "its complicated" is your answer when someone asks you what's wrong. when you look at them together your eyes fill up with tears. because you like him, a lot. you like him so much.
And sometimes, you just wish he knew. ♥
