Mouthing My Words
Prologue
I woke up that morning and hit the snooze button on my alarm clock.
I got dressed and ate my breakfast.
My brother (And guardian) Jack drove me to school,
where once again I was teased,
for being mute.
I closed my locker and walked into class, ignoring the whispers that said, 'There's the freak.' or 'She doesn't deserve to be here.'
I sat down, and put my head on my desk.
I knew this was going to be a long day.
While switching classes later that day, Megan bumped into me, causing me to drop everything.
She gave me a mean look. 'Sorry," she mouthed. But if she had said it out loud, it would've been sarcastic.
I looked over at Megan and her 'posse.'
I rolled my eyes, ignoring all the pointing and laughing.
Carson closed his locker and looked at me.
"Freak," he muttered. Carson was that one guy at school
that everyone liked.
He never got in trouble, and he was worshiped, even by teachers. All the girls wanted him, and all the guys wanted to be him. The only girl that didn't love him, was me. I looked at him, and I wanted to say something, but I couldn't. I walked into science and put my head on my desk, crying silently to myself. I was the mute girl. I was the Freak.
Authors note: I know it wasn't that good, but hopefully it will get better. I'm gonna try to make it more dramatic. This was just kind of explaining Carson and Megan and her 'posse.' Soo... yea. Feedback? Thanks!
