Chapter 2 - Alone
"DAKOTA!" he screams. She jolts up from her sleep and looks at the clock its's 10:30 pm. She rushes down the stairs she see him standing there drunk. "Lets's go" he says "No your drunk" she replys. Wrong answer he hits her in her face she knows not to cry though. " Go get in the car" h seethes, she can smell the whiskey on his breathe. She walks to the door, apparently not fast enough for him because he hits her in her stomach. "FASTER!" he shouts in her face. She can barely breathe he yanks her by the arm to the car and throws her in. She can see in the cars mirror that her lips bleeding. He stumbles in the car she stays silent. After a couple miles of dangerouse driveing he stops the car. "Get out" he says, she does as she's told. He get's out too on the sidewalk he pushes her. She falls down and he kicks her in the side she gasps trying to breathe. He crushes his foot into her back, in return she let's out a small cry. "Stay" he sneers. As her face is on the cold cement its starts to rain or was she just crying? It was both. She watches her her father get in the car and drive away. She's not able to move. Soon she's numb from the coldness of the rain. She doesn't try to get up her whole body is acheing. No cars come down this rode, "it's better they didn't, just leave me here to die". she thought to herself. Suddenly she sees a shimmering light she was scared, did he come back to finish her off? No. It was a lambragini her dad drives a blazer. "It'll just pass me" she thought, but it didn't. Her eyes were getting fuzzy she was loseing consiness from the coldness. The car was across the street from her, a boy that looked about her age came running to her side. "wht hpn" he said. She couldn't hear him clearly but she was looking at him. "What pretty hazel eyes" she thought. He lifted her up "warm too" she thought and clung to him not wanting to let go. He carried to his car before he put her in she muttered to him "You smell nice". She smelled his scent of honey one last time and then blacked out.
