Chapter 4
We stayed like that for about ten seconds before we finally broke apart.
He was smiling like crazy and pulled me in and kissed me again.
"Amanda," he murmured against my lips, "will you be my girlfriend?"
I pulled away and looked in his eyes.
In them I saw love and passion.
"Yes, of course," I answered smiling.
"He smiled again and pulled me into another kiss.
It felt like hours of kissing before Sabrina and Jade finally walked through the door.
Matt took my hand and walked me over to them.
Sabrina looked at us then at our hands.
She looked at Matt and smiled.
"You asked her?" she asked.
"Yeah," Matt said, still smiling.
"Wait, Sabrina, you knew he was gonna ask me out?" I asked, completely puzzled.
"Yeah! Do you know how long this boy has liked you? He never shuts up about you!" she exclaimed.
I blushed, really hard.
"Come on!" she said, and pulled me away from Matt and into her room.
"Okay, first of all," Sabrina said, "I am so sorry abo
ut Ryan. But are you happy now?! I saw the way you looked at Matt, it was like, love at first sight! Sure, it might be a little awkward for me, but I'll get over it. It's love!" She laughed.
"Sabrina, calm down," I said laughing.
"Right, right, sorry!"
I noticed Jade hadn't said anything.
"Um, Jade? Everything okay?" I asked.
She looked at me with cold eyes.
"Everything is perfect," she replied with no emotion.
Then she walked out of the room.

Chapter 3
"R-Ryan?" I asked, my eyes filling up with tears.
"Uh, yeah.." he said, looking like he just saw a ghost.
I ran out of the movie theater, as tears slid down my cheeks and onto the ground.
"Amanda, wait!" I heard Ryan yell.
"I'm fine, I don't need you!" I yelled back, and continued walking.
"Please Amanda!" he yelled once again.
For some reason, I stopped.
I turned around to see him running towards me.
Eventually, he reached me.
"What?" I asked in a b*tchy tone.
"Please, Amanda. I didn't mean for you to get hurt," he said in the saddest way possible.
"I'm bet you wouldn't be saying that if I didn't see you!"
He just looked at me all sad, so I continued.
"I knew you would leave me eventually. I just didn't expect it to be like this. Cheating Ryan? Really? I didn't think you were that kind of guy. I guess I didn't know you that well. And if it wasn't obvious enough, we're done."
"Amanda..." he said looking down.
"Bye Ryan," I said.
I ran away crying all the way home.
Instead of going home though, I went back to Sabrina's house.
I hoped that Sabrina and Jade would be there soon.
I walked in the house, not even bothering to knock.
I went to Sabrina's bedroom, and just layed there on her bed.
I began crying my eyes out into her pillow.
I heard someone knock on the door, and I immediately stopped.
I opened the door and saw Matt standing there.
"Amanda? What are you doing here? Are you okay? I heard someone crying in here. I thought it was Sabrina."
"Well, I'm not exactly what you call 'okay'."
"What happened?" he asked, looking worried.
"Ryan cheated on me," I said with my voice shaking.
"Oh my gosh, Amanda. I'm so sorry," he said as he pulled me into a tight hug.
"It's okay, it's not like it's your fault."
He pulled away and we just looked at each other for a minute.
Then he did something I never thought he would do.
He kissed me.

Chapter 1
I woke up early the next morning.
Then I remember: summer.
At least that's one good thing in my life.
I looked at my phone and saw a text message from Jade.
Jade is one of my friends that didn't walk out on me out of nowhere like everyone else.
Jade: hang out with me & sabrina today @ 12? pweeease?(:
Me: alright, at your house?
Jade: nope, sabrina's house(:
Me: kay, see you then.
I was really excited to go to Sabrina's house.
She has an insanely hot brother, named Matt... who's single.
I know I'm dating Ryan, but he doesn't really try that much.
It was 8 so I still had plenty of time to get ready.
I went downstairs and ate cereal while watching Spongebob Squarepants.
After I was done I took a nice, long shower.
I put on my favorite pair of denim shorts and a peach-colored tanktop with butterflies on it.
I blow-dried and straightened my hair and applied my mascara and eyeliner on.
By the time I was done it was 10:30.
I watched Spongebob for another hour and a half before I got in my car and drove to Sabrina's house.

Prologue
People have been leaving me my whole life.
It started with my dad.
My dad abused me a lot.
He was the reason I went to the hospital so much for broken ribs or legs.
Eventually, he and my mom got a divorce.
I stayed with my mom, while he moved out somewhere else.
One family member gone.
Next is my mom.
She told me she had to go on a business trip.
She said she would be back in a couple of weeks.
She never came back.
I don't know where she went, or why she didn't come back.
She just left.
Another family member gone.
While I was growing up, I lived with my brother.
My brother and I weren't too fond of each other.
Eventually he got sick of me, and left.
I don't know where he went either.
My whole family, gone.
