A girl looks at you.

Right now, she's really praying to God that she can have the courage to say hello to you. So why don't you go over there and say hello to her.

There's this girl.
She was always really quiet and always had her nose in a book.
She had her two best friends, including me, and her few good friends,
but other than that, she was silent.
Some answers in class here and there, some comments once in a while.
When there were group projects she sat and looked at the teacher in sadness.
When there were free periods she'd study quietly on her own.
When there were dances, she'd stay at home and sigh.
Not cry--just sigh.
And then, freshman year, in english, a boy tapped her on the shoulder.
They talked.
He smiled.
She smiled.
When the bell rang, he walked with her.
And this happened everyday.
Then the next year they had a history class together.
They talked everyday.
Just sat and walked and talked and laughed.
Then homecoming came around.
He asked her.
She was so happy she didn't know what to do when she saw that letter in her locker.
She went to lunch skipping.
She didn't even eat.
She went to her next class and looked him in the eye and said "YES!"
And they went.
They just went.
No dancing. No nothing. Just talking and laughing.
And they've been that way ever since.
Now I think they'd make a great couple.
She talks to him all the time, and he's always looking at her.
They text each other almost everyday.
Now what is it that keeps them apart???
Could someone tell me, because I can't figure it out!!!
