why do i sit in my room all day by my phone; waiting for his call.
his call to say that he was wrong for letting me go.
and that he wants me back.
i know that's never gonna happen,
but i don't understand why i keep thinking that it will?

I remember we could sit there for hours, just the two of us. And we could talk about a million things. We were so happy, at least I was. I found out that a lot of the stuff you said and did was fake. And you never really liked me. You just used me for a girlfriend. After you broke my heart, you would ask me back out again as jokes…but every single time that happened, with all the lies you would tell me before you made that move, I would fall for it. When I don’t talk to you, I know that it’s a joke, but when it happens, I think it’s real. I can’t help myself, I just fall. And yet again, you break my heart, and I fall flat on my face, and it hurts like hell. And you don’t even bother to help me up, and you don’t care that I got hurt. You’re a selfish jerk, but I love selfish jerks like you, and there’s nothing else I can do…but fall for you.

i think i'm over him, but that's just because i'm not talking to him right now. when he talks to me, i know i will start liking, no, loving him again. i don't want that, but when he talks to me, i just fall for him. i think of how everything used to be, and i just fall. and then he makes a move, asks me out, then says it's a joke. and i fall flat on the floor. on my face. and i'm hurt, again.
