We both snapped out of it and pulled away. I looked up to see Michael still laughing and swearing about hurting his elbow. "You're such a wimp," I told him. "Oh yeah? Well at least you had someone to fall on, I was just being the sweet, considerate guy I am by not landing on you." I just stuck out my tongue, we could pretty much keep fighting all night. We ended up watching an action movie, then played cod. I sucked at xbox but I couldn't really complain; it was 3 against 1, but I don't really mind it much anymore. I was covered up in my blanket and I saw it was 12:30. "I should probably leave now guys." "Why don't you just sleep over it's pretty late right now?" Patrick said. "My dad has work tomorrow so I have to watch Josh, and I'm sure as hell Hannah won't take the responsibility. But thanks, I'll see you guys tomorrow." Pat offered me a ride home but I said no. I didn't want him to have to drive get up and drive me home, when it was already late. I got home and was asleep before I knew it. The next morning I woke up and got Josh some food. I'll admit he was a lot of work but I loved the times when I could take care of him by myself. I heard my phone ring so I answered it. It was Pat. I didn't hear him at first, but then I heard something, like somebody was crying. "Pat? Hello?" Then I heard Patrick's voice, "Dude, what's wrong why are you crying? Yo.. Du-" and the call ended. It sounded like he didn't mean to call me, but somebody was crying. So I picked up Josh in my arms, and headed outside.

I was still standing there, waiting for her to acknowledge me. "Can I help you?" she said with attitude in her tone. "Where's Josh?" I asked. "He's with Dad they went down to the beach to look for shells and crap so um.. can you please shut the door and stop intruding in my own business?" I just ignored her, like I was supposed to know she'd be getting laid on her first day here, with the door wide open. I walked into my room, put my hair up in a messy bun and found some sweatpants and a loose shirt. I was going to be there for a good part of the night, so I figured I would rather be comfortable. I walked over to Dunkin Donuts to get my check. I worked here most of my weekends with Ethan and Pat. I usually had my shift with them but when I didn't I was stuck working with Brittney. Brittney was always all over Ethan and Pat, but ever since I started working here, they didn't pay much attention to her anymore, causing her to avoid me at all costs, besides her usual dirty looks. Anyway, I got my check and started to Ethan's. I got there finally, I really hated walking but I had no other choice. I walked in, "Right on time," he said smiling. The night was pretty much amazing, playing all sorts of board games like scrabble, Life, Sorry. The most fun though, was Twister. I had one free hand, the other on a red and my two feet on green and red. Ethan was underneath me, reaching his yellow circle. I also had Michael over me like a bridge. I was shaking so much, holding all of my upper weight on my right hand. I collapsed, falling right on Ethan. We both started laughing, and stared into each other's eyes. He took my hand, feeling my two rings on my forefinger. Ethan had given them to me as a Christmas present. I absolutely adored them, not leaving the house without them on my fingers. I actually can't believe he got them for me in the first place, considering each ring must've cost him around $50, at the least; although he claimed it was "No big deal," I was surprised as to why he decided to give them to me instead of his girlfriend, Tiffany.

Hey to everyone who's currently reading "Nothing is perfect." I hope your enjoying it, and if you have any suggestions or comments, be sure to let me know on my profile. Also, I have recently begun using Polyvore so I'll put certain characters' outfits up, but I'd be happy to do anyone else's if you'd like me to, so just ask and I'll get right on it. Thank you!

Of course she would ignore me, and continue the conversation with him. "I'm Hannah. I'll be beginning junior year at the end of the summer," she said in a flirty voice. She was moving in with my dad, Terri, Josh and me now? It must've taken a lot out of her, considering she loved the boys back in Maine. I didn't even know why I was still standing there, waiting, at this point. She was still talking Ray, the senior, like I wasn't right in front of her, never mind for the first time in five years. I just walked away, I knew she would much rather talk to him. I joined Michael and Ethan once again, as they were waiting for me so we could walk to Harry's, a restaurant right down the street from our high school. Pat was going to meet us there. Patrick was Ethan's brother, and one of my good friends besides his brother and Mike obviously. He was going to be a senior after summer vacation. He was pretty much my brother, and I would say that about Ethan but considering I like him, that's not exactly how I classify him. Pat was also my prom date, which would be happening July 10th, two weeks away. You would think I would go with Ethan, that's what makes sense. But he got asked by Tiffany Retwood in late April, so when Pat asked me the next day, I figured I had nothing to lose.
