please never tell little girls that boys are being mean to them because they like them. that boy might very well like her, but she shouldn't be learning to see any kind of mistreatment or bullying as being a positive display of feelings. before you know it she'll be fifteen and dating a dou/chebag who treats her like crap, but she'll think it's okay, because he's being mean to her because he likes her.
