A lot of people like to trash teenage girls because of
our "insane" crushes on band members. And it really
bugs me because those insane crushes have helped
me,and a lot of girls, get through hard times. Sometimes,
it's nice to listen to One Direction, and be able to hear
songs about how great I am without them expecting
anything in return. I can listen and hear how much
these cute, nonthreatening boys want to make me feel
special. No one is pushing me. There's no one shoving
their hands down my shirt without my consent. These
band members aren't pressuring me to send them
pictures, probably only to show all their friends and
call me a sl/ut later. When teenagers have a
crush on a band member, we have the power. And I
don't know why people judge us for wanting to
escape into that.

What I'm really scared of is leading an average, ordinary
life, with a regular job and a regular routine, planned
holidays, a normal household, fixed responsibilites and
not doing anything to be remembered by.

we think we're make of numbers. percentages, grades, pounds on a scale,
likes on a photo, scores, price tages on clothes. but we're not. we are made
of love, and family and friends. the way our eyes light up when we talk about
something we're really passionate about. we're made of happiness and
warm memories, late nights and past-curfews. jokes, stories, and dreams.
we have more substance than numbers.

It's terrible that people
actually hate themselves
because they aren't a certain weight
or don't have certain grades.
It's even worse that people will
physically cut themselves open
because they don't like certain things
or don't have a certain amount of friends.
They're terrified of being judged
or criticized
because they don't look like the cover of that magazine.
So maybe if we showed people
that it is okay to be who they are,
rather than just saying,
"don't be afraid to be you!"
or, "just be confident"
then maybe there would be
less people with slashes on their wrists
and less notes ending with "I'm sorry that I wasn't good enough"

Dear diary,
I finally got 12 followers on witty today. I'm trying really hard not to let the fame get to my head, but it's difficult. today, some lady at the store asked me if i wanted paper or plastic and i lost it. Am I too famous for her questions? I can't believe I haven't been asked to do a magazine cover yet.. I hate to get my hopes up, but I feel like it's coming soon.

I think that when a kid cheats on a test,
it should reflect more on the school systems
rather than our generation.
Because if a student is willing to risk getting in trouble
just for a good score,
it proves that our society values high grades
rather than actual learning.
And that's messed up.
