To me, being in love isn't the problem.
It's whether you are loved in return that keeps you awake at night. Wondering if they're doing the same thing and if they are who are they thinking about. Knowing that they're always there in your head and wondering if you have a place in their heart.

My best friend: I love you. I'm sad though.
Me: I love you too and I'm sad as well.
Her: Why?
Me: Because I feel like compliments are fake and so are people. It's a horrible suffocating combinstion that sometimes makes me sad; especially when I realize, I have no faith in our generation or society. I'm sad because I think too much and it weighs down on my mind all the time and usually, it's something that's too hard to share with someone.
