Mermaids Tale
chapter one
"Wake up! There are whales!" my boyfriend Luke yelled in my ear, " Come on Mia!" He shoved me once more and I looked up at him.
He smiled and pointed outside of our bedroom to the front of the cruise ship we were on for Spring Break with our friends Leslie and Blake. I rubbed my eyes still tired, and rolled out of bed. Leslie and Blake were still asleep and I didn't want to wake them. Last night we all slept pretty bad. It was our first night and the waves were unbarable..
I put my slippers on and darted to see the whales with Luke.
When we got there, crowds of people were gathered, watching four whales flipping in the air as if trying to show all the humans something.
Luke looked at me and grabbed my hand, "Pretty cool, huh?"
I smiled, "They're huge!"
We turned again and watched as the whales disappeared under water. The crowd sighed and disappeared as well.
There were plenty of things do on the ship, such as an arcade and dances. A huge fancy dinner followed by dinner was tonight for the adults while the kids played in the arcade.
"I'm going to go get ready for tonight, Luke"
He looked at me confused, "It's 11:36 in the morning" He said looked at his watch
"I have a lot to do!" He laughed and went off with Blake who had just arrived with Leslie.
"Spa day?!" Leslie asked me.
"Let's go!"
We ran off to the spa on the cruise and got manicures, pedicures, and an excellent facial. We got our hair done up for the dinner tonight and our makeup was applied perfectly. It was already 4:00.
"We met up with Blake and Luke outside of our rooms who were waiting with they're tuxedos on.
"Wow, you both look great" said Luke
He walked up close to me, "Why are you so beautiful"
I laughed and kissed him. "You guys ready for dinner?"
Blaked rolled his eyes, "We we're ready an hour ago! You girls take way long to get ready."
Blake always joked around like that.
"Shutup!" joked Leslie, "Let's go!"
We walked upstairs to the dining hall. Everyone was dressed in elegant dresses and was dancing before the dinner was served. Me and Luke walked to the center and danced with Blake and Leslie.

After dancing for a while, we walked outside to take a break. It was dark now and the whales were back. We were the only ones outside.
"Hmmm. I wonder why the whales keep coming back? They look like the're trying to show us something." Leslie said.
We walked to the side and looked down to see something glowing in the water. It was bright. Even brighter than the full moon that was out. Maybe that's what the whales were trying to show us.
"What is that?" I asked.
We all leaned over to take a closer look to see what it was when suddenly we we're pushed over the edge and fell twenty feet into the cold ocean water.
