Alexis's POV[chapter two]
"Wait up beautiful," I heard a man's voice from behind us. I turned around hopefully, but it was just Maria's boyfriend, talking to her of course.
"Hey there baby," Said Maria smiling at Keith. I stood there awkwardly as he gave her a deep kiss. He slung his arm around Maria.
I guess he was walking with us now.
"Alexis, you know I can hook you up with Aaden," Said Keith, smiling at me.
"What?" I asked, although I heard just fine.
"You and Aaden? You guys will make a great couple. I can hook you guys up,"
I just stood there akwardly.
"Well?" He asked.
"I don't know.."
"I'm taking that as a yes," He said, smiling brilliantly.

Alexis's POV[chapter one continued]
I woke up panting, sweat trickling down my forehead, confused. I had a weird dream, I couldn't quite understand. I was in an odd garden, one I never seen before. I was walking down the path, and right there, in the middle of that mysterious garden was a giant crack on a marble wall. I traced the crack with my finger, and closed my eyes. Then opened them, looking back at my bedroom ceiling. It was a good thing I did, because it was time to get ready for school.
My best friend Maria called me, saying she'll be in my house in half an hour. I tied my hair in a ponytail, brushed my teeth, and went downstairs to eat breakfast. The front door bursts open and Maria is standing there, looking beautiful as always.
"Alexis, don't you ever care for yourself?" She asked, twirling her effortlessly curled blond hair with her finger.
"What do you mean?" I asked, although I knew exactly what she meant.
"Not trying to be mean or anything, but you won't look too bad with a nicer outfit or a bit of makeup,"
"Thanks Maria, but no thanks,"
I slung my gray backpack over my shoulder, and held the front door open for my best friend.
"Whatever," She mumbled, walking out the door. I ignored her snide remark, and rolled my eyes.

Alexis's POV[chapter one]
I studied the beautiful face of Natalie Sherman on TV. Natalie Sherman was my role model. She's talented, smart, beautiful, and the stuff she does is just heart warming. I watched her give a speech about animal rights, then signing a check donating 2,OOO dollars to the animal shelter.
Her pearly white smile shined in the light as her brilliant eyes gleam.
As for me, I would have gave anything in the world to be like her.
Singer, Model, actress, and philanthropist. She was amazing.
turned off the TV, and decided to switch on the radio. "Destiny" By Natalie Sherman filled the house. I rolled my eyes. This song was way over played.
I turned to another channel. "Dear old Natalie" by Natalie Sherman smacked my ears. It was her newest song, not to mention my favorite.
"-Dear old Natalie, switch lives with me, Fame isn't everything, beauty isn't every game.
Dear old Natalie, switch lives with me, my hopes and dreams I'm not meant to be
lost in this fame game. Dear old Natalie, come take this fame away from me"
This song always made me wonder, especially since she wrote it herself, and even played the instruments in the background. This life, isn't it all? Isn't this what every teenager girl dreams of?
At least, this is what I, Alexis Gobrowski, dreamed for my whole life.
I decided I had enough of Natalie Sherman for today, so I got ready for bed. It was another one of those lonely nights where mom and dad were away. I got used to it by now, but it doesn't mean I like them.

Girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph on a motorcycle.
Girl: Slow down. I'm scared.
Guy: No this is fun.
Girl: No it's not. Please, it's too scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug. (Girl hugs him).
Guy: Can you take my helmet off and put it on? It’s bugging me.
In the paper the next day: A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on the motorcycle, but only one survived.
The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his breaks broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him, felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so she would live even though it meant he would die.
True story.
