So I need advice...
I'm in a relationship with someone but I'm in love with someone else. It's not as bad as it sounds. My boyfriend is perfect, he says he loves me and has never done anything to hurt me. The guy that I'm in love with and I use to be really close. We talked everyday for 8 months and all of the sudden one day he just stopped answering. I went to a football game with my friend and saw him holding hands with another girl. I had a breakdown. From that point on I stopped caring about myself. I let guys take advantage of me and it didn't bother me. I'd never been so hurt in my entire life. We stopped being friends and I hadn't talked to him in months. Then on his birthday I texted him at midnight. I expected a thanks, or no reply. Instead this is what i got " you really are a special person and such a good friend. it means a lot. at least someone cares". We've been talking everyday since and he wants to hangout. the thing is i know that if we hang out things will happen and i do have a boyfriend. i know its not fair to him to be in a relationship with him but be in love with someone else but i dont wanna break up with him because i dont wanna hurt him. Im thinking about just waiting for a while to see what happens. if i end up hanging out with the guy and things happen either we'll keep it a secret or ill break up with my boyfriend. i just cant decide what to do. the guy im in love with it going to college next year and when he goes he'll be gone and chances are i wont see him again. so why not stay with my boyfriend? i can learn to love... right?
