Chapter #4
Skylars pov
I ran towards Nevaeh and yelled at her "Ahhhh remember that one guy Derek?"
"Yes what about him" She answered
"So we walked together to algebra and in class he gave me a note"
I handed her the note and right after she read it she started
screaming excitedly
and told me to get in the car.I jumped in the car and blasted the radio.
It was best thing i never had by beyonce. Me and Nevaeh started
singing along.
When we got to my house we both got out of the car and went
inside.
It wasn't a suprise to not see my mother there.
So me and nevaeh went up into my room.
I texted Derek and here was the conversation.
Me:Hey(:
Derek:Skylar?
Me:Yep
Derek:D
Hey so i was wondering if you were busy tonight?
Me: Nope i'm as free as a bird :D
Derek:Okay good(:
Do you want to go to the bonfire with me?
Me: I would love to(:
Derek:(:
K then i'll see you at 7.
I put my phone down and told Nevaeh the good news.
She jumped off the bed and shouted "It's 6:30! We need to get ready!
So we both took showers
(she took one upstairs while i took one downstairs)
We got out about the same time. I left my hair wavy while Nevaeh
decided to straighten hers.
I put on some waterproof mascara,eyeliner, and some lipgloss i
got a couple days ago at victorias secret.
I put on a blueish bikini,with hollister shorts and a flowy tanktop
over it.Then i slipped on my hello kitty flip flops.(

Chapter 5
Skylars p.o.v
Right when i got out of the car i could smell the wood burning.
Derek ran up to me and invited me to sit around by the fire.
He was wearing a DC hoodie,skinny jeans,and blue,grey,and black

The beach was already crowded with drunk teenagers.
By the fire was a couple of dereks friends.
Nevaeh nudged me and pointed her head into the
direction of a cute blonde guy who had long skater hair
and greenish/blue eyes. He seemed like her trype.
So i whispered to Derek "Nevaeh is crushing on one of your friends.
He asked who so i said the blonde one.
"His name is Cody"
He said.
Then i walked over to him and asked if he wanted to hang out
with my friend Nevaeh.
He said sure so i told her to go over to him.
Then they disappeared into the crowd of teenagers.
Now it was only me,Derek,and his friend.
He managed to get his friend to leave so i guess he wanted us to
be alone.
"Do you wanna roast marshmallows?"
He asked
"Sure"
He got two sticks and two marshmallows. He stuck the marshmallows
on both sticks and gave me one.
It was kind of an awkward silence until he said "It's a beautiful night"
"I know right. The moon is so bright"
I replied
"Not as bright as your eyes"
He gazed into my eyes while i smiled and blushed a little.
"Did you bring a swimsuit?"
He asked
i chuckled the answered yes
He suddenly took off his hoodie and skinnies.
Now all he is in is swimming shorts.
I got up and took off my tanktop and shorts.
Then he put out his hand and asked
"Wanna go swimming ?"
I answered "Sure"
he swept me off my feet (wedding style)
and ran to the water.
he gently put me down and then put dug his ipod out of his
shorts pocket.
It started playing not a second to waste by mayday parade.
He lied his ipod on the sand and grabbed my hand.
We dashed into the water and started swimming.
When it started getting deep he grabbed me by the waist and spun me around. I had my arms locked around his neck.
I started to say something but then he leaned in and kissed me.
When he leaned away i asked "What was that for?"
"I like you skylar.Alot"
I smiled and chuckled a little.
"I like you too Derek"
We walked out of the water and gazed up at the stars and talked for hours.
And that night i knew i was already falling for him

I woke up to the vibration of my phone. "1 new message:Derek[:"
Derek: Hey gorgeous<3
You busy today,?
I quickly replied: Nope
What do you have in mind?
Derek:Meet at the park in a half hour?
Oh and bring ,Nevaeh, Cody's gonna be there(;
Me: No problem,(:
I slowly arose out of my bed and turned around. Nevaeh was still sleeping, so i jumped on the bed and yelled at her. "Wake up! "
"Ugh, what?" she groaned. I tossed my phone on her and she quickly read the conversation between me and Derek. She gave me a smile and handed my phone back. She got up and went to take a shower while i ran over my hair with a straightener. I threw on my shorts,a pink plaid shirt, and some vans. I also put on my zombie necklace. Nevah left her hair wavy after her shower and wore shorts,a crop top, and some blue vans. We slowly walked down the stairs. "Good morning honey." My mom said.
"Hey mom, me and Nevaeh are gonna go to the park for a little."
"Ok. Oh sweetie on your way home can you pick up some milk?"
"Sure mom"
I grabbed my keys, ipod, and some lipgloss and then left.
(Sorry this is a short, boring chapter but i'm going to try and make chapter 7 more interesting(:
