My pillows soaked with tears,
As i cry and try to chase away my fears.
Every dream i have is the same.
Its always in black and white.
It starts by me walking down the hall at school.
Every boy i see seems so cool.
"He'll never like you," all the pretty girls seem to say.
But the others neither followers, Nor on their own say, maybe one day
I keep walking, eyes wide with tears.
I'm nearing first period, Althought no one can hear,
The beat of my heart, Its rapid, heavy pace.
As i enter boilogy, He catches my face.
I keep walking, not looking down.
My eyes fixed on his frown.
The tears start to brim,
As his frown turns to a grin.
As she walks into the cold, ice room.
She's beautiful, and smart.
No wonder he smiles.
I finally reach my seat, and remove my legs from the aisle.
The tears start to run, a deep wet black.
He asks me whats wrong.
I say "nothing" back.
I turn slightly, and look at his face.
Staring at her across the way.
I just sit there and stare, like the idiot that i am.
As he turns, and see's my hopeless expression.
He picks my hand up, from the hard black bench.
And kisses it softly, and lays it back down with his warm right hand.
I smile so weakly, that its about to collapse,
and he whispers in my ear "I'm sorry, but there's no time left."
I wake up from that dream, once more.
I'm awake. its all over.
The nightmare-ish site.
Of the rest of my life.
I sit on my bed, in the pale blue moon light.
And try to remember to hold on tight.
He loves her. Its as plain as can be.
He may not love me.
And we may never have history,
But every now and then,
When he flashes me a smile,
I remember to breathe,
Even as he walks her down the aisle.
His happiness means more to me than anything itself.
Including me and my feelings for
All eternity.
