we were best friends until she came along
she doesnt even know the real you
you pretend to like the things she does when
i know the truth
funny how one person can change you
she hates me and i hate her
your her best friend so what am i to you?
i moved on she eventually hated you
your not her friend anymore so you came back to me
i said no and you asked why
i said remember way back then you had to lie
she doesnt know the real you and now neither do i
maybe you should choose your real friends who want to
see the real you not some one they expect you to be
because if you pretend to be someone eventually theyll
know the truth and who you really are like i used to know
now im not sure who you are and ive moved on i see you dont have a best friend now thanks to her you have lost 2 friends maybe next time youll think of me when your stuck in the middle with your best friend and your new friend who are you going to trust more the friend who you can be anyone around as along as its yourself

elementry school we hated each other
middle school we talked as friends
highschool came and we were unseparable
then we grew older and we grew apart
maybe a letter or a fone call or 2 but thats it
i wonder what happened to my enemy who became my best friend

We laughed we cried we stuck together
toys were fun until in came boys
it was so much fun
with our weekend sleepovers
and late night calls
then we started drifting away
we barely talk maybe once or twice
you never call me i never call you
you moved as a teen to another state
we never spoke i wrote you a letter
you never wrote back
i used to cry and you used to comfort me
now whos there for me i lost my best friend
we became adults and lived not close to each other
the only thing left is our memories of
our barbies our sleepovers
our partys and fun we shared manythings like
clothes cds and much more...but now your not here
so im left alone to cry over things not like fights or boys
but because i lost my best friend my sister my everything
so now what do i do? im not sure but until you call
