You took me aside to say you found another love
I went home to cry becuz it hurt like hell
across my bed was the the gift you gave me, a silver dove
slowly I walked over to it like under a spell
I remembered you gave it to me, I was so flattered
I picked it up and extended my hand back
and threw it out the window and heard as it shattered
he being gone was just another fact
so i sat back down on my bed and started to smile

she picked up the phone and started to dial
and layed back down on her bed
