GASP. BASSOON. <3 I really give props to anyone who can play the bassoon beautifully (same goes for oboe and french horn). It's really such a nice instrument. I play flute (generic, I know). First chair for four years, drop down to second chair this year, principle flute in pit orchestra, and perfect scores for three years on my state's music assessments. At your service! :) reply

Lucky! I've only met one guy who'd go to both with me. He asked me out, but I never dated him. I've never been with someone who appreciates classical music the way I do, but still loves metal. reply

Everyone in your life has some place and role. You're right in knowing to move on, no matter how hard it might be. Perhaps it's that his role in your life has been completed. Perhaps the void he's left is meant for someone else to come along and fill—you never know. Writing is such a great outlet and means for release. It's a great feeling to know that appreciates your thoughts, even if they don't assume they're yours. I wish I could read your report; I'm sure it's as good as she says it is. Thank you! I'm so sorry to here that you have such a horrible family environment... No one deserves that, and no one is born for the sheer purpose of being made miserable. It's only that some people are born with a tougher, rockier path to happiness. I hope things go well for you in the future. Patience is a virtue, and you're almost always rewarded in the end. I'm so glad that you've found the one for you, too! :) reply

I'm just glad you feel better! It's the least I can do, really; no need to thank me. Has he messaged you back yet? We're in a world on almost seven billion people. Never let one person's opinion and thoughtlessness take control of your life. You are you're own person. You are beautiful the way you are, and no human opinion can change that. If you ever have the desire to change your appearance, do it for only yourself—not for another person and not for society. And it's always great to get your thoughts out of paper. It's especially good because you can get your feelings out without feeling the threat of being judged. My life has been pretty good, thank you. I had been living with five years of depression, but recently things have turned around for me. It goes to show that it can't rain forever: things can and will change, and that's enough reason to not give up hope. reply

Have you ever thought that maybe he's just covering up? It's easy to do that over the internet, and guys tend to like to put up a false front to cover up how they feel. They don't want to show that they're hurt because of their pride. He might be just as upset over this, but he's just not saying it. My advice to you is that if you miss him, TELL HIM THAT. Don't let your pride get to you either. You never know what happening on his side if you don't try. And again, NEVER be sorry for venting! I'm just glad that you're able to talk about it! reply

I've never been in your situation, but I definitely understand how much stress that would be for you... I'm sorry that I can't give much good advice... I'm so glad you feel better talking about it, though. Talking is an outlet that let's just at least release some of the pressure. You said that you snap a lot because of what's going on in your life... If you're willing to talk about it, I'm all ears. Don't feel the need to hold anything back. Even the best writers encounter writer's block sometime along the way. That's so cool! >w< I'm so obsessed with all European cultures... Greece is absolutely fascinating. And you can do anything if you set your mind to it! Talent and "intelligence" is overrated. Never let illusions like that limit you. reply

I had a hunch you were a writer. If you don't think you write beautifully now, I can't imagine how you used to write. Skillful writing comes with time and effort... If you put enough time into it, I'm sure it'll come back to you again. That's so cool how you know Greek! Greek is one of the languages that I really wish I could learn someday, but I've heard how difficult it is. I'm sure it'd be worse if I tried to learn ancient Greek, though, as opposed to modern. I currently have my hands tied up with Russian, though, as well as a couple other languages... reply

I believe that everything is here for a reason and that everything happens for a reason. And problems are here in order to be solved. :) Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. You probably have a talent that you're not even aware of! I love music, so I play flute, piano, and sing. I love writing, and I have this odd obsession with learning foreign languages... reply
