Turning My Life Around
Chapter 1
Now ever since the age of 2 years old, Katherine wanted to be a princess. Always into fairytales and happy endings. And thats what she got. Happy endings and a fairytale life. She had a mansion, went to a private school, was spoiled rotten and got everything she wanted. She could have been a sweet and loving child. But her parents made her snotty. she was nice though, not horribly snotty, just used to getting what she wanted. She did not like the word no. She always wanted prince charming to come along and take her away. And with her parents around, they tried to make that possible. But that was a big mistake. So that crushed the little girls heart. But then she got back on her feet when the quaterback asked her out. Of course Katie thought they were meant to be. She was the head cheerleader and he was the quaterback. another perfect relationship. Well, one day everything would come crashing down. How bout I start from the beggining?
Katie was sitting in her room, practicing for her dance recital. Her wavy locks of hair caressed around her. She felt like she was flying. Mind-spin her phone rang. She ran over and slipped it open sitting on her bed, "Yello?"
"Hey Kat!"
"Hey Lil!"
"You coming to the party tonight?"
"I dont know...I might be busy.. You going?"
"Nah. Want me to come over instead? Maybe watch a movie?"
She smiled, "Yeah." I ran down the big and elegant stairs and into the living room where my parents sat, "Mommy, can Lily come over?"
"Of course dear. Just don't make too much of a mess."
"We won't!" I cheered into the phone, "You can come! see you soon!"
Then Lily hung up. I got my room ll ready with our sleeping bags and put the movie in. I was just finishing up the popcorn when lily came in. She walked upstairs with me and we chattered away. I clicked play and 'The Notebook.' started. All was good, until the movie ended. I wiped my tears, "It was so beautiful. Gets me everytime." Lily nodded.
"Katherine, may you please come down. My father and I need to have a word with you." I swallowed hard. Uh-Oh. This wasn't gonna be good. Not one litttle bit.
