Isabelle's P.O.V.:
Today is the day.
Sam is going to go look for jobs today.
And what am I going to do?
Sit around all day with Sam's uncle.
So Sam left out of the door,
And i just sat on the old, dusty couch.

"Bye Isabelle, "
"Bye, Sam. Good luck!"
BOOM.
The door closed.
Sam's uncle came downstairs.
"Isabelle."
"Um, yes?"
"Can i ask you for a favor?"
"Sure,"
"Could you help me clean my collection?"
"Okay."
We started walking downstairs to the basement.
We finally got down the stairs,
and he opened a door.
The lights were off,
But it was this terrible foul stench.
And he turned the lights on.
I couldn't believe what i saw,
Decapitated teenage girls bodies.
I tried to run up the stairs as fast as i could but he dragged me back down and hit me.
I was laying on the floor,
i couldnt move.
i looked ouut of the window,
and then Sams face popped up
"Sam!" i mouthed.
"I'm coming!"
Next thing i knew Sam busted through the basement door
and hit his uncle.
He told me to hurry and give him my phone and he called the police.
I can't believe what just happened,
I didn't expect it.

It's only a couple of more days until christmas.
They're still looking for me and Sam.
We ran off a month ago.
We wanted to be able to be together without being judged.
Sam's family isn't rich like my family,
So my family didn't approve of him.
So we ran away together,
Y'know, the romeo juliet thing.
I was afraid they would find us and they would never let me talk to Sam again.
Sam ran up to me, excited.
"Isabelle, guesss what?!"
"What?"
"I just talked to my uncle."
"And what'd he say?"
"He said let us stay with him until i find a good job so i can buy us our own house."
"Really?!"
"Yeah, he's driving down here now,"
Sam was smiling from ear to ear,
I knew he was excited about us being together.
We sat on a big hill and talked,
And finally Sam's uncle pulled up.
"Hey Uncle James."
"Hey kiddo."
Everyone in Sam's family called him kiddo.
"This is Isabelle. The girl i was talking about."
"Hi, Isabelle."
"Hi."
"Well are you guys ready to go?"
"Yes,"
Sam sat in the backseat with me, Instead of sitting in the front.
Sam's uncle kept staring at me, i felt uncomfortable, so i scooted over.
Then he adjusted his mirror so he could see me.
This was wierd.
