About Me
Im Victoria from north west London and I'm into art&design and music and things like that because I get bored easily if I cant be creative in any way. My dad sells art books so I guess that helps.
I really like the Harry Potter books (I grew up on them) and other books like Audrey, Wait! and the Confessions of a Shopaholic series.
My favorite music is to the left. Vampire Weekend is first they wrote some of my favorite songs (Giving Up the Gun, Horchata, A-Punk, Oxford Comma etc) I also love Foals and it was kind of the first time I listened to decent music; my favorite Foals song is Olympic Airways (the video is amazing).
Fashion-wise I follow blogs like
fifi lapin and Tavi at
the style rookie. I really like the idea of thrift shopping but in London most of the stores have become a little overpriced, and with the amount of work I have I havent found much time to seek out good ones. As a result my favorite shop at the moment is Zara. Their sales are so much better than Topshop and for me, and because I'm young(ish?) and the styles are quite sophisticated, I pair them with my hand-me-downs and things from other stores; and they're all classic so I can keep them for a long time and wear when im older- as a size 6 im determined not to go above size 10. In the future they will be fashionable as revival pieces and vintage. I do still like Topshop, I can't sit in the shoe section without wanting to loot the store & I get all my jeans from there; I also like American Apparel for basics and I'm okay on H&M although I wouldnt buy most of the stuff I got good skirts and a Ramones tshirt there.
