Introduction.

Karly was full of herself. She spent her time snapping pics shopping at her favorite stores such as Hollister and Aeropostale. She was the most popular girl in her whole school. Every boy drooled over her just talking to her. Until one day. As usual, Karly felt through her long brown hair, making sure everything was to perfection, (as it usually was) when she felt something out of the ordinary. She pulled. A huge wad of hair was grasped in her hands. Again, she reached in the same spot as before, and pulled. Another strand of hair pieced out of her head. In desperation she kept reaching for more. And more. And more. Until beautiful Karly, wasn't as beautiful as before. All of the guys, she thought, what would they say? What would they do? She panicked. She burst into her mothers room, showing her her almost bald head. She was immediately driven to the hospital.. Her mother was instructed to wait outstide, while meanwhile, her daughter was being thoroughly tested for diseases. Minutes passed. A half hour. An hour. Finally, the doctor walked out the door, and quietly shut it from behind. His lab coat was bright white. He had short black hair, and small spectactles confortably perched on his face. The man sighed, and his dark blue eyes looked upwards towards her mother, with lack of words. "Lindsay, your daughter has been tested three times." "She has cancer." He said.
