My name is Sophie but you can call me Soph. I'm 17 years old but I turn 18 on August 31st. I love writing stories and I've been doing it from the age of 9 years old. I hope to improve in the future. However I would love to become an author in the future but however I don't think that will happen because it's just an hobby. I like meeting new people! (:

    TORNADO!
    Chapter 3,
Days passed no news about Jason. This searching took the energy out of me and my family. If mom finished searching for him for the day, she would stay up all night walking around the house. I needed to be strong for Jason and my parents.
“He’s gone” mom said dropping to the ground “I can feel it”
I wrapped my arms around my mom.
“He’s still alive” I said “Hopefully”
“He’s gone Alexia” mom said looking at me “Mom’s know these things”
“I never want to become a mom then” I said looking at the picture with Jason in.
“I just want to find him” mom said.
“So does everyone else” I said “Mom, I’ll make some pancakes”
“I’m not hungry” she said “I need to search for him”
“Mom, take a break” I said “You’re losing weight”
“I don’t care” mom said putting her jacket on.
“Please” I cried “Mom, we’ll find him”
Uncle John came walking through the door taking his jacket off.
“Sit down” Uncle John ordered mom “He’ll be out there”
“Uncle John, I need to have a word in private” I said looking at him.
My uncle John is always there for me no matter what, he would take Jason and I to Michigan with him every summer for 3 weeks while my parents got to go on their own little vacations around the world.
“She felt Jason was leaving” I said, Uncle John turned around to my mom.
“Poor woman” he whispered “She must be going through hell”
“I guess” I said “She needs hope”
“I know” he nodded “We’ll find him”
“What if he isn’t alive?” I said, my uncle wrapped his arms around me tightly.
“He’ll want us to be happy” he said kissing my forehead “Jason is a good person”
“Why can’t God take bad people?” I cried hard.
“He wants good people to look after heaven” he said, I let out a smile and hugged him. “How about we go see your dad?”
I nodded slightly and took mom to the car; it was as if I’m babysitting my own mom.
We went past the spot where my dad’s car is.
The memory haunted me as I saw the car.
I suddenly saw an image of Jason flying into the tornado.

    TORNADO!
    Chapter 2,
We went to look for Jason and dad but their car were nowhere in sight. My stomach kept twisting into a knot. Mom and I ran out of places to look they were only going to the local party place which was 20 minutes away.
“Mom what if they’re not even in this town?” I asked keeping a look out for the car.
“They have to be” mom said, I could see she’s getting frustrated.
My uncles number appeared on my phone, I picked up the phone to hear that my uncle found the car but dad and Jason were nowhere to be seen.
I saw Jason’s graduate hat and gown laid across the backseat.
“It should have been me, Jason” I whispered allowing a tear to slip out of both eyes “You should have been at home getting ready for the party”
“Jason would have wanted you to be out of danger” my uncle Bill said hugging me “We’ll find them Alexia, I promise”
I let out a smile and hugged onto him. People were getting their remains out of the tornado, people were looking at us worried till middle aged women came across the road, and she’s quite tall with blonde hair.
“Can I help you?” she said looking worried “Do you own this car?”
“I do” mom said looking at the women with distraught “Do you know something?”
“I saw a young boy fly out of the door” she said “there was another man in the car as well but the ambulance got him”
I felt nausea fill my throat, Jason was gone the tornado dragged him. I fell to floor crying. Why do bad things always happen to innocent people?
This should have been the best day of Jason’s life.
He should be enjoying it but wherever he is he’s not having fun.
    That’s if he’s even alive.
“I recommend you check the hospital” the blonde women said “I hope I’ve helped”
“Thank you so much” Uncle Bill said smiling “Stay safe”
“We’ll look out for the young boy” she smiled “My family will as well”
Uncle Bill picked me up and put me at back of mom’s car.
“God will look after them both” mom said kissing me on the forehead.
I needed faith in God at this moment.
Why does God make natural disasters happen?

    TORNADO!
    Chapter 1,
I’m getting ready for my older brothers graduation, I put on a purple dress that showed my curves perfectly. My makeup was almost done properly thanks to watching some videos on YouTube about makeup. I put on some white heels to make my legs look longer being 5ft1 and a 15 year old makes me have the height of a 12 year old. I curled my brown hair that bounced perfectly below my shoulders. I walked downstairs clutching my purse.
“You’re more dressed up then me” my older brother Jason said pulling me into a hug.
“Well you are graduating” I smiled hitting him on the arm. My brother and I are more like best friends rather than siblings I don’t want him to go off to college.
“Let’s set off then” my dad smiled “Mom wants pictures first”
    “Really?” Jason sighed.
Once mom took the photographs we arrived at my brothers graduating ceremony where people were sat on the bleachers, the 3 of us found our seats while Jason stayed at the bottom of the sports hall. The worst bit about the graduation was hearing the principal’s speech.
I smiled as I saw my brother approaching the principal to get his certificates and shaking his hand. Once everyone received their certificates every hugged and kissed each other. I looked towards my mom where she’s crying.
Jason looked up to us and smiled. Jason’s the best I’m so proud of him.
We met him outside where mom wanted to take more photographs of him and his friends. I felt Jason’s friend Samuel look at me, Samuel always complimented me on anything but I guess he wouldn’t since my parents were next to me.
“Alright Jason, you’re going with dad to get the remaining things for the party” mom smiled “Alexia your with me”
That’s me Alexia; most people call me Lex but not my mom. She believes I’m called Alexia for a reason and I should be called by that.
I got into the car; we were halfway home till the tornado siren went off.
“We need to get home...” I said before mom sped off.
The sky turned grey while the clouds got grey to black.
I shut my eyes to wish this was a dream.
