Chapter 1
"I love you Jason." Leah rubbed her thumb against my wrist as we strolled hand-in-hand on the sidewalk.
"I love you more." I whispered in her ear. She giggled, "That tickles!"
I sneaked my fingers up to her neck and tickled her behind her ear.
"Stop!" She laughed, breathless.
"Anything for you babe." I kissed her cheek softly.
This girl, Leah. She is so amazing. Her eyes are the color of the ocean's water. Her hair is dark and alluring. She is always radiant with energy and happiness. I love her so much. But because of what I am, I'm not sure if we can be together.
We arrived at her front door and we stood there awkwardly for a moment.
"I had loads of fun Jason. Thank you for the lovely night."
"Anytime."
Another awkward silence.
I took her hand and kissed her.
"Good night Leah. I love you."
"Night Jason, love you more!" She waved to me as she closed her front door. I sighed. She was beautiful.
I was walking back home, when i decided to take the short cut. I was in the middle of an alley when I sensed something. Something bad..
