Everyday I wonder what it will be like when I die.
I wonder if I've made enough of an impact on people.
I wonder if I am loved enough.

I pitched a perfect game as a freshman and everyone went to this huge party but me.
Instead, I rode my bike 10 miles to stop my friend from committing suicide.
I was hit by a car on my way there.
I saved my friends life, but lost both arms.
I'll never pitch again, but seeing my friend smile is worth it.

Did you know that every 18 minutes, 1 person dies from suicide.
And about 1/3 of those people were bullied because of their sexuality or gender identity?
When you say "...so gay", that adds one more chance for that Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender individual to crack.
Enough is enough.

I wish I was a kid again.
Having such an innocent mind, not knowing what ugly there is out in the world...
Thinking everybody is beautiful, and not caring about gender, sexuality or race.
How come when we grow up, we turn into such mean, judemental people?

I'm fifteen and most kids in my class party and drink on the weekends.
Instead of partying, my friends and I make blanket forts, play on the playground, and play hide and seek.
I am so glad that I am not popular.

I was about to go when the light turned green.
But my grandpa told me to stop.
I slammed on the breaks as a semi blew through the red light.
It would have hit me if had I gone.
I had to pull over because I was crying so much.
Why?
Because I was alone in my car.
My grandpa passed away in August.
