I AM A PRINCESS
Dear whoever-you-are!
Hello! I'm anonymous, let's keep it that way. I want so badly to write, but every word I type, ever letter and form, it all sounds stupid. He says I'm my own worst critic, and yeah, I am, but I just feel like it's never good enough. It's something everyone can do, nothing makes it special. I don't just want to write, I want to write well. If I could be anything, I'd be an author. But that doesn't bring in money, and you have to have something special to sell. I can write fluently for the most part, if I try, but it never stands out. If I can write 1 story so well that it just pops from the crowd, that it stands out, then maybe I'll feel better about this whole thing. Until then, I guess I'm S.O.L. I have another Witty, but that's unimportant. Like I said up there, I"m anonymous, let's keep it that way.
Your friend,

I am a princess. I am brave sometimes. I am scared sometimes. Sometimes I am brave even when I am scared. I believe in loyalty and trust. I believe loyalty is built on trust. I try to be kind. I try to be generous. I am kind even when others are not so generous. I think standing up for myself is important. I think standing up for others is more important. But standing with others is most important. I believe compassion makes me strong. Kindness is power and family is the tightest bond of all. I have hear I am beautiful. I know I am strong. I am a princess.

    The Teenage Years
    Matthew James Roths
    Hair: dirty blonde
    Eyes: gray with blue
    Weight: 170 lbs
    Height: 5' 7"
    Grades: C+ to A
    Athletic: lacrosse, football coach
    Family: together; upper middle class
    Mom - 46
    Dad - 46
The beautiful senior, he melted the school's female population everytime he winked. Buzzed dirt blonde hair lays softly atop his head. Steely gray eyes flecked with blue compliment those of his junior girlfriend, Hope Swanson. Matt, Matty to his friends, will be attending the local university on a lacrosse scholarship. He'd been a monster with the stick since he was 8, and all those years of playing not only gave him enough skill to be team captain for 4 years running, but a body. Broad shoulders, arms with curves just where every guy (and girl) wants them, the perfect 6 pack, the female fantasy of v-lines, rock hard thighs and perfectly chiseled calves make up the physical form of the beloved Matty J. Roths. Maintaing grade ranging from C+ to A's, he is a model student. During the off season for lax, Matty volunteers at Langtin Middle School as assisstant football coach. He volunteers on Prom Committee with Hope. Outside of school, he and Hope go to movies and parks. When he's not busy with his perfect girlfriend, he's with his not-so-perfect bestfriend, Nicholas Joshua Vaul, otherwise known as Nick or Nicky V. Nick started as a charity project, but eventually, despide the rumors and pre-decided judgements, he had let Nick become his true best friend.
Author's Note: Still working on characters. This is the third of seven. Characters so far: Hope Marie Swanson, Brielle Marcia Alexander, Matthew James Roths
Alll Time Note: Hey, second attempt. "Love Lies" went nothing like I wanted it to, and I didn't like it. So now this one? Read please I guess? I just want feedback. Even if you only read a chapter, and tell me it sucks and my grammar sucks and I need better word choice. I don't care. I want feedback. Follow if you like it, I guess. I'll do notifs if anyone actually wants to read this.... :/ (My bio explains my feelings on my writing if it isn't obvious enough)

    The Teenage Years
    Brielle Marcia Alexander
    Hair: black with gold streaks
    Eyes: dark brown-black
    Weight: 142 lbs
    Height: 5' 1"
    Grades: c+ student
    Athletic: none
Family: lower middle class; "middle class trash"
    Aunt Becky - 52
Brielle Marcia Alexander is the definiton of freak. If you looked it up in the dicrionary, a picture of her is all you'd find. Layered black hair streaked with gold frames her pale face and stops at her chin. Her pasty complexion is (not) complimented by dark blue eyeshadow, long trails of liner on the upper lid, and eyelashes coated in green guano. A rectangular shaped body with curves in all the wrong places, she's considered "fat" by her "friends" and slightly overweight by doctors. An average C+ student, she sticks to herself. No sports, clubs, or even friends rock her world. She seems to enjoy her solitude. Even if she wanted friends, very few would volunteer. She sings all the time. In the hals she'd quietly sing Colbie Calliat to herself. Her voice was beautiful, but still she is shunned. Even now, in 11th grade, perople still feared the unknown. Brielle was bisexual, self-admitted and for a reason no one could understand, proud. She was new to the shcool this year, but the poor girl was too confident. She marched in, tall and strong, not knowing thaT Langtin High does not allow such a thing. After 3 months of whispered rumors, she stepped up to the plate and asked Hope Swanson to the Fall Dance. She was very quickly and cruelly shot down, "No," being the only word spoken to her from Hope. Still, she simply smiled and responded with, "Okay, Matt Roths is staring at you by the way." With that, she walked away. For as weird as she is, her confidence deserves an award.
Author's Note: This is a very touchy chapter, so if you're offended but how she's bi and described as weird take a step back. The whole story is from an omniscient and unnamed teenage perspective. The story is from a societal point of view as well. With that being said, I don't agree with this chapter. Being bisexual is fine. So before you scream at me, think about that and keep scrolling. xxx
Still working on characters. This is the second of seven. Characters so far: Hope Marie Swanson, Brielle Marcia Alexander

    Hope Marie Swanson
    Hair: chestnut brown
    Eyes: blue
    Weight: 107 lbs
    Height: 5' 2"
    Grades: A+ student
    Athletic: soccer, cheerleading
    Family: together, upper middle class
    Mom - 38
    Dad -40
    Brother- 12, Jordan
Hope Marie Swanson. She's everything you wish to be. If perfect had a definition, she would be it. Her natural chestnut brown hair cascades perfectly past her shoulders. Beautiful blue eyes pop from her face. A petite nose rests just above her naturally pink lips. Proudly wearing a B-cup bra, she has the perfect hours glass figure, with a size 2 waist that curves out into size 4 hips and melts into long, olive legs. She is what all models envy. A model student, she obtains scholarships to every college she aplies to. She takes classes 2 years above her grade and passing with nothing shy of an A+, and still finds time to be the MVP of the girls varsity soccer tea. When she's not studying or scoring goals, she keeps busy with school clubs, such as cheerleading and the prom committee. Her social life is ruled by friends Leeanne Patricia Demro and Mackenzie "Scotty" Paatrick, and her just-as-perfect boyfriend, Matthew James Roths. Hope is just what her name is. If she's around, everyone smiles. Happy, smart, amiable, and fun-loving, she is a role model to everyone. Just like everyone else, Hope's perfection is only a mask. Only one other person knows her secret, her girlfriend, Brielle Marcia Alexander. At least, for now.
Author's Note: First character of many. Just a little bit about Hope Marie Swanson, one of the main characters of this story.

    Love Lies
    Chapter 3
Bridgette chattered away with Joy and the rest of the girls that had crowded around. To them, Bridgette was God. Grace didn't not like Bridgette, Bridgette was her bestfriend. It was more like jealousy. She wanted to be her, but then again, did she? No. No one else liked Grace, but she liked who she was. Not that she'd admit that to anyone. Bridgette walked away from her group to get a better look at Josh. Coach blew her whistle, and everyone began their laps. Bridgette ran half a lap and then walked with her posse of wannabes. For the most part they whispered, only the occasional giggle audible. Grace jogged with Josh. It was a quiet run, but the glares Bridgette shot into her back broke the silence each time she blinked. The rest of P.E. was uneventful. The jocks dribbled basketballs in and out of their legs, weaving around the gym, narrowly avoiding those shooting foul shots under coaches watchful eye. Bridgette and her posse gathered in the corner gossiping, and pretending to cheer when coach glanced over. Because they were on the cheer squad, they could skip P.E. classes to practice. Being that it was winter, they were forced to do cartwheels and throw up basket tosses in the corner of the gym. "Poor babies, with all that attention," Grace muttered under her breathe sarcastically. She had not made the squad. Bridgette was captain and she had cut her to put Josh's sister Lauren on, and gave her private lessons, too. She mostly sat with Josh and Nick, making Lauren hold high v's and touchdowns and t's for hours at a time. The poor girl got more of a work out standing still with Bridgette's minions beating on her arms than she did during team conditioning. A deep laughed echoed through the gym, interrupting her jealous thoughts. The sound was from none other than Josh. Bridgette once more sent her evil stares, only these didn't stop until the bell rang.
Author's Note: This one is really boring and bad. I really don't like this story. It took a turn from what I was thinking. Bridgette's supposed to be the main character, not Grace. It's not supposed to be the underdog getting the limelight. Probably going to cut if off, it's not working, at all......
Alll Time Note: Okay, hi. I guess I'm trying something new here. I haven't seen a story like what I'm planning on making happen in this one yet on Witty, but I've seen better ones. Love Lies
    Chapter 2
They walked into P.E. together, immediately crowded by the usual girls. As Grace was rudely shoved to the side, Bridgette began gossipping and laughing with Natalie and Joy. "When's Nick coming hom?" Joy asked, honestly interested. It was obvious she had a thing for Nick, but she'd never tell. When Bridgette wasn't with Grace, her, Natalie, and Joy had a Mean Girls thing going on. Grace was almost like the new girl trying to fit in with the group. "10 days!" Bridgette squealed. Grace thought of how badly she wanted to slap that noise out of her. It was so annoying, and she thought it was cute! When she talked to boys, she didn't talk, she squeaked her words, or she breathed them out, whispering just barely. It was her excuse to move in closer. Then she'd slowly walk her fingers up his shoulder, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing their foreheads together. She would teasingly plant a kiss right on his lips, soft and subtle, then pull back for half a moment before doing it again, and again, and again. Eventually she'd back him into a chair, or back herself into a wall. Sometimes, when she dated real losers for easy action, she'd have to move his hands to where she wanted them on her body. Sometimes her butt, others her chest. She never just kissed sweetly. Grace had saw Bridgette kissing a boy once, and it looked like dogs kissed more gracefully. They slobbered all over eachother, tongues missing the others mouth and slashing across the cheek instead, hands gropping all over eachothers bodies. Grace had turned around to give them privacy, but when she heard Bridgette moan she sucked it up and walked home in the blizzard that roared outside. Bridgette called her later that night and have her a play by play, and made Grace buy her pregnancy tests too. She ended up going to the doctors 5 weeks later, 100% sure she was pregnant. Her parents never found out, becuase she Bridgette had been living with her Aunt Becky at the time. Aunt Becky was a s//ut herself, and probably had a frequent patient card in the maternity ward at the hospital. She had abortions almost every month, if it was possible. She signed off and payed for Bridgette to have the baby taken care of, and 2 nights later Bridgette was right back at it, with a different guy nonetheless. Grace was still a virgin, and she was proud, but there was one boy who could change that, if he'd give Grace a chance. She'd never get it, not while he was dating Bridgette, and even after she'd have to compete with Joy.
Author's Note: I guess this is starting to become more about Grace than Bridgette. It seems choppy, like it doesn't flow. I don't like it. :/ I might start a different one soon if this doesn't get a groove to it. :// Opinions are appreciated, good and bad

    Love Lies
    Chapter 1
"Bridgette," Grace started cautiously as they entered the large building. She stared at the ugly brown tiles, focusing on the quick little snapping noise her pink flats made as they hit the stone. "I have to ask you something, and you can't get mad at me." This would either go really well, or really bad. Bridgette would either completely flip and start screaming, or laugh it all off. She was so unpredictable sometimes. "Okay?" Bridgette asked, wondering what Grace was up to. "Nick's been gone from 3 months. How have you dealt with that? We both know you don't do so well with long distance relationships. Remember Ben?" she asked. Ben was a jock, star hockey player, but kind of a jerk, and definitely stupid. He was attractive though, all the girls melted over him. He had hooked up with Bridgette a few times over the summer, and eventually they made it official. After 2 weeks of Ben travelling with the team, Bridgette got bored and hooked up with the swim team. Ben came home and found out, and that was the end of that. Most guys didn't care that Bridgette hooked up with other guys, though, because if you were dating her you got the most action, and usually the best, too. "I've had a few friends keep me busy, nothing major. I haven't gotten any action since Nick left, it's killing me," Bridgette whined. Grace thought about how obnoxious Bridgette was, she wondered why she hung out with someone like her. Then she remembered 7th grade. She had spent most of the year being teased about her glasses and how she always read. The summer before 8th grade she got contacts, and only read on her phone so it looked like texts. She started using make up and working out, and now she had a killer body. The only thing she needed was to be noticed, and what better way to be noticed than to hang with the school s//ut? "What do you mean keep you busy then?" Grace questioned her. "Mmmm, the usual foreplay. We'll listen to music, and I'll walk over and-" Bridgette started to explain. "ENOUGH!" Grace cut her off. "I don't need a play by play, Bridge. C'mon, I want to get to P.E. early, Josh Haffet just got transferred to our class," she finished by changing the subject to Josh. He was even more perfect than Nick. Bridgette would never admit it, but Grace knew she liked Josh. He may be the one boy she wouldn't cheat on. Josh and Nick were best friends, and Grace knew she was only using Nick to get to Josh. Nick was sweet, he would be so heartbroken when Bridgette finally got Josh. It wasn't an if, Bridgette always got the boy she wanted. After all, if your legs are the doorway to Narnia you do have an advantage over most of the male population.
Author's Note: Chapter 1. If you haven't read the prologue you should. It explains a little bit more about what kind of people Bridgette and Nick are. Grace is still sort of unknown I guess? An extra.

    Love Lies
    Prologue
She sat on the edge of her bed, a calander across her lap. Only ten more days before her boyfriend came home. Nick was a sweet guy, protective and funny. He was an A+ student. He would be picked on by the jocks, if it weren't for the fact he was a jock. He was the center forward for the Varsity soccer team, and had led them to several victories this past season. He was part of a foreign exchange program, but got permission to leave late in order to play soccer for his hometown. He'd been gone for 3 months now, but in 10 days, she'd be back in his arms. Her alarm began beeping and she realized if she didn't get ready she'd be late for school. She was also an A+ student, honors classes and right defense on the girls JV soccer team. She was second string of course, but she was there and she played hard. She stood in front of her triple mirror vanity and brushed her brown hair until it was straight. It wasn't hard, her shoulder length hair was naturally straight. She had blonde highlights, and red dip-dyed tips in the back. It cascaded down her back, and pulled it to a high ponytail. Pulling on jean shorts, a crop-top tank that tied in the front country style, and brown combat boots that went to her mid-calf, she walked to the bathroom to cake her face with fake beauty. She applied foundation to make her lighter. Most people wanted to look more tan, but she was too tan. Next she smothered her lashes in 3 different brands of mascara, and outlined the bottom eyelids with brown eye liner. A smudge of gray eye shadow and some pink lip gloss and she was out the door. Skipping breakfast, because hey, a girl needs too look perfect, she grabbed her car keys and left the house. Sliding into the front seat of a sleek silver car, she drove to pick up her friend Grace. "Gracieeeee do you have money? Cuz this b//tch needs coffee," she whined, an annoying squealish sound filling the car. "I'll buy you a large caramel latte with extra whip if you promise to never make that sound again," Grace said. "Make it fat free and you got a deal," she said. "Oh my God, Bridgette, you're so thin, why do you insist on dieting like this?" Grace replied. Bridgette made the annoying squeal again. "OKAY!" Grace laughed. "Fat free it is" she said as they pulled into McDonalds drive through. They got coffees and rode off to school. "Nick comes home soon, doesn't he?" Grace asked. "Yeah," Bridgette smiled, "10 days and he's all mine. I have plans for that boy. I've been waiting 3 months. He's mine," she finished. Grace just laughed, an awkward, nervous laugh. She knew all too well where this was headed. Ten days is too long for Bridgette. This was going to get ugly, and quick.
