   Chapter 2 Part 3
   Kylie's POV
   "K, you know that's not true. Don't let it get to you!"
   Ian said, trying to ge tme to look at him, but i resisted and kept my face buried into the crook of my brother's neck.
   "Yes, it is true; I've never had a boyfriend Ian. No one would want a fat, ugly, b/tch like me."
   I said, but it was muffled.
   "No, it isn't true. You may be a b/tch at times, but your not fat. You're beautiful just the way you are, no matter what anyone said. And there are people out there that like you. You may not know it, or you may not have them, but trust me, there is."
   Xan said, squeezing my hand as Ian rubbed my back.
   "Name one, Xan, just one."
   I felt him stiffen and looked up at his face. He wasn't looking at me; he was looking out the window with a pained look on his face.
   "See, that's my point. You can't name anyone."
   I pulled away slightly, but he pulled me back and hugged me.
   "No, Kylie, that's not it. It's just, I...I can't tell you. Not now at least, but when I feel it's the right time, I-I'll tell you, I promise."
   He explained with a slight quiver in his voice. I nodded slightly,
   "Okay."
   Then went back to cuddling him, I looked over and saw Ian with a knowing look on his face as he settled back down with his head on my chest and Tina looking a little uncomfortable. I shrugged slightly and continued playing with Ian's hair again.

   Chapter 2 Part 2
   Kylie's POV
   "Hey Tina, what was so important..."
   He trailed off as he turned the corner into the room and saw me. As soon as he did, he ran over to me and pulled me into a big hug. His brother wasn't ver far behind. And so I was englulfed in the familiar scent of vanilla and Axe.
   "Hey guys."
   I managed to cough out. I took another swig of vodka and tried again,
   "Hey."
   I gave a small smile.
   "What did he do this time?"
   Ian, the older one, who had spoken first, asked.
   "Do I need to get the shotgun and shovel?"
   Xan, the younger one, said. I shook my head,
   "No, but you can do major harm to him. I would't mind that. It might do him some good too."
   Both had looks of disappointment as they took their places on either side of me. I leaned my head on Xan's shoulder and breathed deeply, trying to stay calm so I didn't break into a blind rage, or even worse, a ball of nothing but tears. I snuggled closer to Xan as I played with the bracelet that Ian had given to me. It was always on my wrist, except for when I was working with/near water. It was one of the few things I never took off. Xan laid his head on top of mine and Ian stretched out with his head on my chest, while Tina stretched out with her head on my stomach.
   "I love you guys. You always make me feel better, have I told you that?"
   I said with a smile smile tugging at my lips.
   "Only all the time sis,"
   Came the reply from Ian.
   "I'm not your sis Ian."
   I chuckled.
   "Yeah, you pretty much are. So what if it isn't my blood. You'll always be my sis, no matter what!"
   I felt his hand on my thigh, just above my knee, give a little squeeze. Now I knew I was smiling,
   "Yeah, you are the somewhat annoying, overprotective big brother I've always wanted."
   I heard a couple of chuckles and looked down to see Ian give me a cute puppy dog look and smirked,
   "Oh you know I'm kidding, I've always wanted an older bro like you!"
   A huge smile lit up his face and I brought up my hand to play with his hair, while my left hand was holding Xan's hand, I heard Ian sigh and then it went silent. Nobody talked for what seemed like hours, but in the truth, it was only minutes. It was so nice, just to sit there, or actually in reality it was more like lay there, surrounded by all my friends, or family as I considered them to be. I told tehm everything, so I was surprised when I was hesitant in telling them what I did next.
   "He said...that...no one would ever want me, because I'm a fat, lazy, b/tch."
   I couldn't help crying after I said it and turned my into the crook of his neck. My hand stopped running through Ian's hair and it fell onto the bed as he lifted his head off my chest.

   Chapter 2
   Kylie's POV
   I kept running untill I made it to my bestfriend's house. I knew if there was anyone that could help me right now, it was her. I didn't even knock, I just ran right in and up to her room. As soon as I got to her room, I threw open the door and found her making out with her boyfriend. But as soon as the door hit the wall they jumped apart and both turned bright red. Once she saw me though, she knew something was wrong. She then turned to her boyfriend.
   "Um, Sky, can you go get us some drinks?"
   She asked, adding a little emphasis on the "drinks." Then he seemed to snap out of it and he started to walk out of the door,
   "Yeah, sure."
   Once he was gone, I just broke down and hugged her.
   "Shh, shh it's okay. Tell me what happened,"
   She grabbed my head in her hands and turned me so I was facing her. I couldn't speak so I just shook my head.
   "Do I need to call them? Do we need them here too?"
   I nodded and fell onto her bed while she grabbed her phone and typed something out on it before putting it back in her packet and sitting next to me on the bed. Sky came back in then with the drinks and handed me a bottle. I'd barely finished reading the label to make sure it was the right one before teh familiar taste of vodka hit my taste buds.
   "Thanks babe,"
   She said as she gave him a peck on the lips.
   "No problem, um, I'm going to leave you two alone, okay?"
   He asked awkwardly.
   She had a sad little look on her eye as she watched him slowly back out of the door,
   "Yeah. okay. I'll text you later."
   Sky left then it was just me and my bestfriend, lying on her bed, drinking vodka. About five minutes later, I heard the front door open and then close again. Then, heavy footsteps on the stairs.

   Chapter 1
   The door slams open as Kylie tries to get away from the bane of her existence.
   "I f/cking hate you and wish you were never born!"
   She screams out the door before slamming it shut and locking it just as the first fist hits it.
   "Get out her you little sl/t, I'll teach you how to treat your elders you ungrateful little wh/re."
   He shouts as he throws another punch at the door.
   "I'm not the one who married someone just to get laid and not get stuck with the mistakes afterwards. But it looks like that failed because you still have me to deal with, don't you, you oversized b/astard. And I bet she doesn't even like it because I bet you have a small d/ck, you steriod-using-freak!"
   She shouted back as she was packing a bag and heading for the window.
   Another punch made the door shake on it's hinges,
   "Your going to regret you said that to me, your just a fat, lazy, b/tch that wished she was getting laid. How does it feel to have no one want you?"
   He sounded smug.
   Kylie hesitated, paralyzed with pain and doubt, and then she snapped out of it and climbed out of her window, forgetting her bag, just as she heard the door hitting teh wall. Forgetting all about her packed bag.
   She ran down the street with tears threatening to spill from her eyes, remembering the time before the b/stard her mother married came into her life and ruined everything.

   Kylie wishes everyday that she was dead, that a freak accident would kill her, or even her good for nothing step-father will just beat her to death one day.
   But she would never commit suicide, she could never take her own life. And her freinds are to be thanked for this. Because of her friends, she is still alive, but what happens when a boy from her past comes back into her life. Will her friends be able to stop her from making the wrong choice? It becomes a battle of life or death when the past comes back to haunt her. Will she beat it and save her friends from the pain of losing her, or will the past overwhelm and consume her?
