A snow covered hill, is where we are
Looking up, at the stars
The moon is, the only light
To illuminate this beautiful night
I grab your hand, its mine to hold
Suddenly its not as cold
You lay your head on my shoulder
I can only wish we were older
We'd run away from this horrid town
Run off to paradise, marriage bound
I lean over to kiss your cheek,
Suddenly I cannot see.
Then a flash, a very bright light
The vision of the hill falls out of sight
I'm conscious. No longer asleep
Its the middle of the night, I feel weak
I look out the window, I see the moon beam.
If only reality was as good as dreams.
dont care about favs. just storing poems here so I don't lose em.
