a) You never really answered my original question, b) if you know that all white people aren't all like that, why say they are? c) You say 'we' as if all non-white people are the same, like they've all suffered because of racial stereotypes. But different places have different 'normals', non-white people are only going to be discriminated against for that in a white society. When I visited a black society, I got death threats all week, purely because I'm white. d) Basically, what it sounds like you're saying, is that people of colour deserve more respect than white people, because of their history. Now I'm not saying that white people deserve more or are in any way better. The point I'm trying to stand for is that all humans are equal.

White is the standard of beauty projected by society. Although people of color may seem to get some recognition for being "beautiful" (in which, they rightfully are), white standards of beauty will always be on top. It's quite hard to understand if you've never been in the position.

That doesn't mean white people don't like anyone who isn't white. Isn't it stereotyping to say that white people are that ignorant?

As a POC, we have had to live and will continue living with stereotypes for the rest of our lives. Stereotypes like “White people can’t dance” is not comparable to “black men are rapists.” “White people can’t jump” is not comparable to “black women are irrational.” “White people like lame music” is not comparable to “black people are criminals.” As POC, we KNOW that we all white people aren't like that. We have had to face stereotypes that wind us up in jails. We know what it's like to be oppressed upon. Therefore, as POC, we have had to take precautions to protecting one's self. And finally, I leave you with this guide to check your privilege because I am done explaining the hardships that POC face. http://www.feminish.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/privilege101.pdf
