Taking Chances.
Chapter 1-
Nicole and I were so excited we could barely sit in our seats, we were taking a class trip to london for 2 weeks. We were on a 6 A.M flight, i've never been so awake at six o'clock in the morning. I could only imagine how great the city is. We had finally arrived. FINALLY! This city was more amazing than i thought. When we first got there we went to our hotel and got situated in our rooms, i was going to be rooming with nicole of course! on the bus ride to the hotel i couldnt help but notice all the X-factor audition posters all over! I asked Nicole if she new anything about it, she said she had heard that it was some sort of singing competion. She jokingly looked at me and said that i should try out, everyone always thought i was a rather good singer and I never thought anything of it. i agreed jokingly , but i would only do it if she asked a british boy on a date, she rolled her eyes smiled and turned back around. we arrived to our hotel room, it had 2 queen size beds a bathroom with a huge bath tub, a mini fridge filled with every snack possible, a coffee maker ,a flat screen t.v and a desk. It was amazing. Nicoole and I were starving so we went out to go get some food with a couple other friends. We stopped at this place called Nandos, weve never heard of it before but it was the first place we saw and we were starving. we all ordered our meals and drinks, while we were waiting for the waiter to come bring them to us, we were disscussing how excited we were, we had promised each other that this would be a trip of taking chances. we finally got our food , we ate it so fast we still had time to walk around the city. As we were walking there were alot of people lined up out side a huge building . we had asked some boy named Harry what everyone was lined up for, he said X-Factor auditions that are taking place tomorow. everyone looked at me all at once and screamed at me to get on line and tryout. i said no at first but then i thought about how i this trip was supposed to be about taking chances, so finally i agreed. nicole went to go get blankets and food and she promised to stay with me . the next morning we were number 217 on line so that means i was able to try out. i didnt even hace a song prepared. i finally decided to sing Safe and sound by taylor swift because that what i sang best out of everything on my ipod. finally they call me in and ask for my name. i told them and they realized i was an american, they had asked what i was doing there, and i explained the whole story. Once i was done with my story Simon finally asked me what i was singing i told him, he told me that it was an interesting choice, i agreed and he ordered me to sing. when i sang they loved it and i got thru! i was too excited i couldnt think or speak i just smiled nodded my head and left . i was so glad my friends made me do it ! when i came out and told nicole she was just as excited as i was! i got thru to boot camp!
