Friendships are like rubber bands

you then have two option..

I have this friend... he wanted to ask this girl to the winter dance, he was still unsure as what to do.. so i asked her if she was going... She replied sooo excited like she wanted to really go, but she said she wanted to go with a date...
My friend then decided to ask her the next day...
He wrote her notes all day...
Then he talked to her in person..
She kept asking him who he liked because she was now curious from the notes...
He said I will not tell you that, but I will tell you who I want to go to the dance with...
She said oh ya? who?! Whisper it!
He then whispered in her ear "YOU"
She then smiled real big and gave him a hug..
Then she said I am not allowed to go..
SHE LIED... she was allowed to go..
Does anyone else think this is wrong? <3
My friends heart is breaking... He doesnt know what to do... any advise?

Too bad our generation wouldn't do this...
*Freshman girl and Junior guy...
Girl's Mom to guy- She is too young to date! Come back when she graduates..
Guy- Ok... I will...
Guess what he did?! He came back on the day of her graduation.... he said here I am as I promised ;)
They ended up getting married... I know this because I am their grandchild.
It's amazing how that generation could prove that Love NEVER fails or fades... even through all those years :)
