All The Little Monsters.
Chapter 1.
"Raeyanne!" Marie shouted from behind my shut door.
"Get your butt out of bed, it's 6 a.m! The first day means you must go!"
My eyes fluttered open as I realized it was my first day at Hoosac Regional high school.
I kicked off my covers and walked to my windows, opening up the curtains to try and let the sun in. Surprsingly it was a beautiful September morning here in Adams, MA.
I walked into my bathroom turning on the faucet and lights. Brushed my teeth and clicked on my straightener. Mornings were never easy I thought.
My mind went back to the first day at Nessacus Middle, and I remeber all my old friends.
I wonder how Wahconah or Taconic or McCann will be without me.. *Beep beep beep* I rushed over to my straightener and did my hair. Never missing a strand.
I liked my brown hair, but it gets boring.
After 15 minutes I walked back into my room and over to my dresser. Opened it up and picked out a pair of white skinny jeans, a long black, flowing tank top and a bra and panties. I scanned over my dresser, and stopped at the picture of Lauren, Isabel, Morgan, Moe, Ariel and I. I hope their day goes good.
I put on my clothes in a hurry and rush back into my bathroom. The alarm clock reads 6:20.
I have just enough time to do my make up.
I brush on a smooth white eyeshadow, glide on black eyeliner, and some black mascara. Then a bit of cover up. I walk back into my room, ripping my phone off the charger and slippin on a silver pair of sandals. "I'm leaving for work now Raeyanne! I'll be home at 6. Try to make some new friends!" and with that the front door slams shut.
I look around my room, thinking about all the money Marie and Doug spent on me when I moved in with them.
I can tell they haven't had a teenager in the house before.
I open my door, grabbing my house keys and rush downstairs.
My backpack is sitting on the table already full and I throw on my Hollister sweatshirt, running out the front door to catch my bus.
I silently pray as I'm leaving, nobody will ask why I moved here...
