    The Lake
    Part//1
Our family Cabin was next to his. Every year, on the first day of summer, we would plan for both our family's to go the the lake together. And I would spend alone time with him. Who was he? The most popular guy in school. Super hot, with bright brown eyes, brown hair and a six pack. His name was Jess. And he was also my best friend. Every year since we were two, we'd hang out and have the time of our lives. But this year was different. I fell for him, and we kept getting closer. I didn't want to like him because I know I would just ruin our friendship. But he kept getting cuter by the minute. All year I tried to avoid him, but it made him come around more. And for the next two weeks with our family's at the lake, I would try my best to avoid falling for him.
    ~
"Meagan, help with the suit cases." My dad called from the car.
We were just about to leave. Me, my mom and dad, and my little brother Bradly.
I couldn't wait to see Jess, but I also wanted to stay home and not go near him. After a Three hour drive to the lake, Jess and his parents were already there. I stepped out of the car, and the first thing I saw was Jess turn around with a big smile on his face. His hair flipped to the side, and his eyes brightened in the sun. I could have fainted. His mom ran over and hugged my mom. They were best friends. Jess came over to me and hugged me tightly. I could feel my stomache about to blow up. "Oh, Meagan hunny, we decided to put you and Jess in your own cabin. You're sixteen now, I'm sure you both want to be away from your family. Me and your family will stay in yours, okay?" I think I was about to scream. This wasn't helping me avoid him.
For the next two weeks, I'd have to find a way to survive.

    All For Nothing
    Part→1
She stood there, while tears fell down her rosey cheeks. Her black makeup covered her eyes. Her expensive black and pink dress she paid 400$ for had a rip down the side. Her blonde long hair she spent hours perfecting notted hear the ends and had tears in it. Her one high heel was broken and were killing her feet. She sat outside on the step, wishing she had just stayed home. She went through all of this, for one boy. For prom. At the beggining of the night, she looked beautiful and was certain nothing can change her mood. Then, once she got to this boys house to see him early, she caught him on the couch with her best friend on top of each other. She went to the school anyways. She walked there, in her high heels killing her feet. Then she broke one stepping in a pot whole. After 6 minutes, that oh so special boy showed up holding hands with her best friend. They waved to her like nothing was wrong. She cried some more while waiting for her mom to pick her up. She let one more tear fall, the gently whispered, "This was all for nothing. I should of stayed home. What a great night," She wiped her tears, then she felt a hand on her shoulder. Next a whole arm around her. She looked up, to see a boy. He had curly black hair and a bright smile. He also had cute little freckles and beautiful green eyes. He sat next to her, and kept smiling. She finally spoke. "Who are you? What do you want? Clearly I'm a mess, go away!" She cried some more. He didn't leave. No, that boy took her head in his hands and kissed her gently. He pulled away and bit his soft lip. "That other boy isn't worth it. You're beautiful, and you look amazing. Come in and dance with me, I promise to treat you like a princess." He grabbed her hand, and for the first time that night, she smiled agian. They walked in, and the original boy got jealous. Him and her ex best friend left. And she stayed, smiling and dancing with the new boy. She looked him in the eye. "Thank you, you saved my night. I'm Kayla, whats your name?" She came closer to him. "Kyle. And you deserved to be treated better, I hope you have a great night, Kayla."
And from there, true love happened.

    TheperfectBoy
    Part 1.
His name was Jess Jacobs. He was seventeen. He lived in a huge house, and had everything he wanted. He was the most perfect boy in school. Popular, athletic, and of course the smart rich kid on the football team. He also had the most amazing bright blue eyes everyone got lost in. And if you look really close, they fade to aqua in the middle. He had blonde flippy hair, that every girl went crazy over when he flipped it to the side. Almost everyone dreamed of touching it. The soft and lush look of it made girls go half mental. He had a flawless face. He had a smile like no other. It made you feel warm and bubbly when he showed it. It made you lose reality when you were the reason he was smiling. His laugh was cute. Just cute. His body was amazing. He had a gorgeous tanned six pack, and of course big arms. His personality was what made every girl cry their selves to sleep because he was not theirs. He was the sweetest kid you would ever meet. He loved everyone, and never judged anything. He would talk to everyone and ask how their day was. He would try and cheer up anybody who looked even slightly sad. He was just the most perfect boy ever. And some say perfect boys don't exist, but they do. And he was. Some girls look at him in disgust, but inside want even a simple look from him. Some guys looked at him and wanted to be him. Only because he had everything. Obviously this kid was popular. He even had kids from different schools talk about him like he was an angel from hevan above. He had girls try and talk to him on Facebook just to say they talked to Jess Jacobs. And being the adorabley sweet boy he is, he replied to everyone. Even is he had 78 messages. He had alot of friends. His best friend though, was Matt James. They had known eachother forever. Matt loved him more than anyone. And Jess would go to him for everything. Jess was just that type of kid who no one could hate no matter what he did. And you know what? He was the most deperessed kid in his school. He cut himself everynight. He cried himself to sleep all the time. He hated being alone because the silence of his own thoughts would kill him. You see, what everyone else thought was not wha he thought. They all thought he was a happy, sweet, perfect teenage boy. But inside he was dying. He longed for someone to hug him and tell him it's okay. But everyone thought he was fine so he never got the help he wanted. And one day, he worked up the courage to kill himself. He hung himself. No one knew for an hour. All they knew was he didn't answer anyone back. So, there you go. The person everyone loved, and thought had a great life, killed himself because of the hurt. And it wasn't because of anyone else, it was just him. He hated himself. But everyone else loved him, and he could never figure out why. And that's the story. Jess Jacobs was truely perfect, but only he couldn't see it. Once they found him, all the girls who were in love with him cried their eyes out. The whole school was never the same without his smile. His best friend Matt started cutting himself. Matt found his phone, and in his notes he had confessions of cutting, and much more. Everyone now knew the truth, and started to wonder what the popular guys that everyone else loved, actully felt inside. And forever loved, Jess Jacobs rested in piece. Once all of his friends joined him, he realized he should of stayed. But he can't take it back.
Thats the story of the "perfect" boy. Just think about what people actully feel inside.

    Part 3.
After at least 3 hours, I woke up. I wiped my eyes.
I was laying at the staire case, and my back was aching horribly.
I didn't hear my dad's T.V blarring, or the shattering of a beer bottle.
Nor did I hear my mom calling my name or the smell of her cheap nail polish.
They weren't home. God only knows where they went with my father drunk and my mother most likely high. Hopefully they wont be back for a while, so I could shower and make dinner for myself. I went upstaries slowly, in pain. I checked all the rooms to see if they were there, but they weren't. I had a quick shower then threw on my sweats. I went down staires and made some dinner. Ussualy I couldn't get passed my parents to make it to the kitchen. I just grabbed things in the morning when they were asleep. After about an hour, I fell asleep.
    ~
I woke up to a weird feeling. Something wet on my face.
I opended my eyes to see my mother, yet again. You can probably guess what was on my face. I quickly moved my head and spit out whatever was in my mouth. Disgusting, I know. They came home. My dad was in the kitchen, and I was still on the couch.
"Get up, b/tch. If you want to live." He said, kicking me.
I got up and made my way towards the door.
"Oh, no you don't." My mother says pushing me down. The next thing I knew, my mom was un zipping my pants and my dad was beating the crap out of me.
I quickly passed out, and didn't wake up for hours.
    ~
"Wake up, pùssy." My dad said, punching my arm. I was laying in the hallway, in my boxers. I had marks all over me, and I hurt so badly I could barley move.
I got up anyways, and got ready for school. In five minutes, I headed off to school. A car stopped at the side of the road and yelled out the window.
"Jess, need a ride?!" The voice said. It was Josh.
"Sure," I said gently opening the door.
"So, wanna come to a party with me and Dylan tonight, after the football game?" Josh asked smiling.
"I thought you were fighting?" I said softly, nearly whispering. I was still in alot of pain and I couldn't even talk.
"Nah. We're over it. So you want to come?" He started the car and drove off.
    "Sure," I said.
My first party. My first football game. Maybe today wouldn't be so bad.

    Part 2.
I finally had a friend. I liked the feeling of being noticed, especially by Josh Holmes. Sure, I would of picked someone a little more sensitive and less popular, but at least someone noticed me. Me and Josh walked to his house after we got out of the school parking lot. He said we could study together. I was pretty distracted by the fact that I was in Josh Homles house, to remember my parents would litterly kill my if I wasn't home by the ned of the school day.
"So, Jess. Thanks for being there for me. I know I was pretty gay back there-" I cut him off.
"Josh, just because a guy has feelings and can't hold them in doesn't make him gay. You don't need to be like that around me. You know, a jock." I said taking out my english books.
"Yeah. I guess the whole 'tough guy' act is getting annoying. Thanks Jess." He sat next to me and then a girl that looked to be in her twenties came out with a short dress on and smiled.
"Hi! I'm Joshe's mother, Meg. Do you kids want something to eat?" She said hugging me.
"Yes, mom. This is Jess." Josh said pulling away from her.
"Well, i'll be right back! Make yourself at home Jess!" She woddled into the kitchen with her big heels on and made us a snack.
"You have a really big house," I said looking up. We were standing outside by the pool at the table.
"My dad's a football player. And of course we need a big house for the prest." He said sitting down.
"Oh. Must be nice to have a big house and great parents." I pulled down my sleave a bit remembering my life style, and how he'd porbably kick me out if he knew.
"Yeah. Sure. It's great having a wh*re mother, and a dad who's never around. The only person who's given me attention in the past year is our house maid, lily." He looked at his english book trying not to make eye contact with me.
"What about you, kid?" He said fianlly looking at me.
"Huh?" I said snapping back into reality.
"Your parents. Hows your life?" He smirked at me.
"Uhm, well. My mom doesn't have a job and my dad got fired yesterday," I tried to cover up my story the best I can without lying.
    "Huh." Was all he said.
"You should be thankful though. You could have it worse. Look on the bright side, everyone thinks your rich, you have all the food you could ask for, and you get everything you want. Even if your parents aren't around." I said scribbling in my book.
"Yeah. I guess so. I'm just sick of my parents not caring. So whats your story? Why are you so quiet and calm?" He asked sitting closer.
"I don't have much to say. And even if I did, who would listen?" I said looking in his eyes. It got really intense between us.
"You're right. I'd still kill to be you." I sat there in shock. Josh homles wanted to be me. I couldn't believe it.
"You didn't even know me before today. And trust me, you don't want to be me."
"Jess, it may seem like people like me don't notice, but we do. I've seen you around. And I'd kill to be you. You're so calm, and wise. You don't have to deal with all the hoes at school. You're always smiling and your parents care." I was surpirsed at what he said. He actully did notice me. But I still didn't want to say anything about my parents. Suddenly the words just started coming out.
"I'd kill to be you. You live in a huge house, you're football captin, you get all the girls, you're way more attractive then i'll ever be, you have everything you want and you have friends. And you're not getting abused or cutting yourself."
I fianlly sat back realizing what I just said. I had fianlly told someone.
"Wait, go back. You're getting abused? And you cut yourself? and don't worry about that other stuff, none of it's fun or real."
"Yeah. I've never told anyone before. I've never had anyone to tell before."
"Jess, tell me whats going on. I can help. You need to tell someone." Josh said sounding more gental and sincere.
Suddenly, his mom came back out. We then ate and did our english in silience.
"Josh, I have to be home before the school day ends. Or my parents might get mad." I said grabbing my stuff.
"I don't want you to go home if they're going to hurt you." He said grabbing my wrist gently.
"I'll be fine. I promise. You can text me iPod if you'd like. I'll see you tomorrow."
I gave him my number and walked home.
    ~
"Oh great. You're home, you little f/cker. How come you're late?" My dad asked drunk on the couch.
"I went to a friends to study. I'm sorry dad. I won't do it again." I said trying to get to the stairs.
He got up an grabbed me by the neck.
He kicked me in the back and threw me on the ground.
"DAMN RIGHT YOU WONT, YOU LITTLE C*CK S*CKER!" He yelled kicking me some more. Then, everything slowly blacked out.
