I am completely invisible to my parents except for when they want to yell at me.
I sail. It's a sport. I do it every single day in the summer for about 6 hours.
And then I figure skate for 3 hours one night of the week.
In the summer, I skate 3 days, 2 for 2 hours and one for 5 hours, and I do track after school every day for 2 hours.
So that's 45 hours of sports a week in the summer, and 37 hours of sports a week in the winter/fall/spring.
I a m n o t a m a z i n g.
I am not great.
Honestly, I could care less if I got some big celebration dinner like they give to my brother when he gets a hundred percent on a multiplication test.
B u t,
A pat on the back,
A "Good job!" Every once and a while,
would be nice.
Can you just look up from him for one second, to see me?
Or do you not even know you have a daughter?

OKAY WITTY SISTERS (AND BROTHERS) ADVICE TIME!
So I like this kid. My parents think he's really nice and really awesome, but they also found out that I like him, so if I say his name once they're like "Oh, here we go again." Next weekend, we are having a cookout and a bonfire at the beach and we have a bunch of people come. I want to invite him and his family, because his parents are friends with mine, but I don't know how to ask my parents if I can without them going all, "OOOOOOh (Crush's name)" and giving me a weird look and I don't know how to ask him.
CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME???
